Demyx has the most master of masters personality out of everyone, quite literally, as MoM has mentioned he himself is a “scaredy-cat”, and Demyx has almost that exact same expressive personality.

I sincerely doubt it, this whole "comic relief loser is secretly the strongest entity in the universe" cliche is strictly a western underdog fantasy trope. Japan doesn't really do that sorta thing, if anything they'll double down on that character being a loser because they believe its what makes the character endearing (which is kinda true I guess) You see it all the time with characters like, Yamcha, Bidoof, Waluigi, Mumen Rider, Shaggy ...and of those the only one who's ever leaned into that fan perception is Shaggy recently who is, of course... a western character.

Remember Demyx also has that split personality when he acts serious and has to battle. The whole goofy cowardly approach is a facade so no one would ever expect him so he can always infer the radar. He's definitely a wild card.

He is even more like the MoM in every sense of the way than Luxu himself. Well except being intimidating, but even then he showed he can be (when he wants to be). The scene where he talks with Larxene is his strongest cutscene that gives us a better idea of his overall true character perhaps.

Knowing Nomura, a twist like Demyx actually being the MoM is definitely not outside the realm of possibility. Of course, it's possible he's going to subvert our expectations and Demyx's human self will just be some random sitar player in Quadratum.😄

if Luxor's is from quadratum, i think it would make sense for demyx to be as well. if you think about it, the organization exists as sets of pairs. xemnas and xigbar we're the masterminds, xaldin and lexaeus were the guards at radiant gardens, vexen and zexion were researchers, saix and axel were friends, marluxia and larxene were both from daybreak town, and Roxas and xion were both sora. it only makes since that Luxor's and demyx are paired in a similar way.

Imagine Demyx and Luxord are from the MoM’s time, that’s the only reason I can think of how they’re from the time of ancient keyblade wielders or fairytales, or they’re both descendants of someone from that past. If that’s the case then we might see them in missing link as one of Ephemer’s descendants or something. Idk.

That'd be neat, but how would Luxord have ended up in Quadratum? Isn't that some form of "afterworld" for people on Sora side of the dimension? Did his die like Sora or Strelitzia?

That makes sense especially with that scene in kh3 when Ansem (Xemnas) says Demyx, Larxene and Marluxia have a keyblade legacy sleeping within them. We know Marluxia and Larxene are from Union X, but ooooooh I’m so excited to see what Demyx’s deal is

It’s doubtful they are from the Moms time. Most likely from Mission Link. Otherwise The Mom would of spoken too them or about them to somebody, something to connect the dots to them, but instead it’s just the fortellers and Luxu, also......how the heck did Xemnas even know that those five have the ancient keyblade legacy within them, before or without Luxu knowing. I still don’t even know what was the purpose of Xemnas even saying that....like that knowledge didn’t even awaken it within them nor did it help in Master Xehanorts keyblade war.

@@TheKira708 Well he might have mentioned them offscreen to Luxu or if they are from the Master of Masters time it might be too painful to bring them up. As to how Xemnas knew about their connections to the keyblade past I have no clue. I personally want to know what Demyx’s relationship to Larxene/Elrena is. They bicker like brother and sister and yet we never heard any mention of a member of Elrena’s family, much less a brother.

Im looking forward to seeing the true sora. We glimpsed him in CoM when his Nobody carried Ventus’ heart and we got to see him in KH3 the not so sunny sora who can succumb to darkness

Imma say something really dumb, but Demyx is Luxu’s Nobody. Like his REAL Nobody. I’m sure it’ll be proven wrong in a future title, but since we don’t know how Luxu’s heart transfer ability works without a keyblade, so maybe he and Braig got split when Ansem stabbed Braig with No Name? And from that split came two Nobodies. Idk for sure, but I feel like they are connected in some way. Being present but not doing anything, delivering a figure wrapped in a white blanket to solve a future problem (The True Dandelion and Roxas’s body), and Demyx’s character file saying “I talked to the old guy a lot, the ‘May your heart be your guiding key’ guy.” There’s something there.

I have a theory, If Elrena and Lauriam are from the Ancient Keyblade Legacy and ARE RELATED to Strelitzia, there is a HIGH chance Demyx might know her too, but didn't really pay much attention until Lauriam (or someone else) reveals to him a Strelitzia is dead for good, same goes for Luxord, who now is in Quatradam using Yozora to look for her.

I think it would be really cool twist if Demyx was actually evil....I mean think about it. Luxu is an undercover warrior of Light working for the Mom to eventually get rid of Darkness for good. So it would be cool if, Demyx is actually playing everybody, including Luxu an is actually a warrior of Darkness, that is one of the Willful Darknesses trying to figure out the Moms plan. During there last Conversation, the Mom told darkness about his plan an said “so just what are you all up to anyway....” an they say “what indeed” so I feel like Ven isn’t the only one harbouring Darkness.

Baby…Demyx is MoM!!! Demyx has the exact same mannerisms. Put their scenes side by side. Whether or not the real MoM is body hopping or not is TBD, but they have the same personality and physical mannerisms.

Yeah and that is super fishy. Even Luxu who probably spent a fair time with the MoM and seems to have adopted the MoM's behavior quite well doesn't have his overall attitude like the persona switch from totally scary laid back to serious. It might be just a bait, but it's certainly sus.

Master of masters: Congratulations! 🎉 (12-13 claps 👏). I mean you’re not right when both Jack and Demyx has those same faces instructors, they also played music and instruments (🎸 🥁 ), and If I’m not mistaken they have the same voice actors which is just a (coincidence I think not).

Ever since he said in kh3 that he’s seen as so dumb that he’s overlooked by the rest of the organization. That’s when I’ve become a firm believer that he has SO MANY SECRETS that we couldn’t even imagine. My bet is either Demyx or Sora are the MoM

So on @HeartsDivergence video speaking on Yozora and the dandelions some user by the name of @megaloblazemon mentioned in a comment that Luxord’s and Demyx’s real names might be “Dolur & Dyme” like “Dollar and Dime”. If one’s a gambler and the other’s maybe a struggling artist working for tips in the guitar case that would make sense in a synonymous way. Additionally (might be an extra thought) it’s also interesting that they would be thematic to ideas and things more a kin of something expected to be found IN Quadratum in a more normal setting. 🤷🏿‍♂️ Just a thought.

I have strong hopes he’s not the Master of Masters due to the idiocy of it all. I mean the master has no need to watch over Luxu in person when there is the No Name keyblade. I had believed in the theory he is Elrena/Larxene’s brother based on shared similar physical features (most notably their eye color) and their bickering which felt a lot like an older sister annoyed at her younger brother but after Elrena never mentioned any family members of hers I had to admit they aren’t likely brother and sister. So basically Demyx is an enigma. He clearly knows Larxene quite well based on their bickering despite not having shown to really interact with her in the past games (did they even interact with one another before Kingdom Hearts 3?) so there has to be a story about their relationship.

Love your idea, would also be a great way to bring Larxene more into the spotlight. Just some "friendly" connection they might have would be interesting to explore.

@@Lyu-Phy Thanks. It wasn’t my idea actually. It was actually brought up on Tumblr and after looking at screenshots of Larxene and Demyx I did see they shared a similar eye color (their hair however is different shades of blond) and that made me think that there was a connection. Plus I have a younger brother and when he was younger he used to get on my nerves a fair amount so I started to think Demyx was Larxene’s younger brother based on their behavior with one another. I still think there’s a connection between Elrena/Larxene and Demyx but what that is isn’t clear.

I really think that Demyx is the Luxu...the Xigbar we see is actually Brain who moved through time as taught by Luxu (Demyx). His mission from the MoM was to stay out of the main story and just observe. He told Brain everything he needed to know and he knew who the Masters of the Unions were from his time as a keyblade wielder. Maybe? ☺️

My guess is that Demyx is either MoM or that new guy from missing links...most likely Demyx got his mullet after he lost his heart so there's no telling what his hair looked like before.

I have a crazy theory what if the person Luxu sent into the future we thought was Strelitzia was actually Demyx? The other theory I have was because I've always thought Demyx was just a fragment of someone what if he is just a piece of Strelitzia more specifically what of that piece of Strelitzia manifested into her Chirithy and became Demyx? Yes my theory is Demyx is a Chirithy in human form it would explain why he was so quickly benched by a replica since he's a fragment he can't be a pure darkness for the 13 darknesses

With a comment like that, it could easily go like this: Future KH game takes 10-30 min of story going into how Demyx is no one special. Just some random guy with a strong heart. If Nomura were to tell us that now, there'd be no reason to take 10-30 min of story to explain that. Lol I would find that funny!

Demyx and Luxord have to be from Missing Link time frame. They are the only ones who do not fit into most theories, and especially anything surrounding FATE (purposely cap's). Im 1/3 of the way editing a video going into one of the most well supported, but left complete left field MoM video.

Damn just realized Setzer from the Struggle Tournament was voiced by Itachi Uchiha from Naruto’s dub VA Now I’m realizing that Saix is voiced by Kisame Hoshigaki from Naruto’s dub VA. Lots of Naruto voices in KH I never realized despite playing the crap outta these while also watching Naruto while it was airing weekly 😂

I'm always surprised that NOBODY talk about chirity having the same reaction as demyx in kingdom hearts 3 (they say "what !" with same gesture) and chirity is the MoM creation + the fact that in the "final world" sora is like demyx's clones, demyx name can be "dyem" = diem = "carpe diem" you can translate by "enjoy your life"(good with demyx) and chirity wait for his friend but prefer leting him have fun with his new "friends" The 2nd paragraph is just speculation (espacially for chirity's "friend" that can be the player) of course but the first one for me is the more possible and like i said im surprised that nobody never talk about that (and of course i dont even talk about what everybody knows, same personnality as MoM, ...) hope my english was correct

One of my future goals: Find out who Demyx's somebody is. It would be a huge twist to discover he's actually the Master of Masters. That would throw the Kingdom Hearts fandom into a huge spiral. The expressions would be priceless. O-O It would probably break the internet. I would be happy with it though. Lol

Judging by what the KH character Files story for Demyx says, I highly doubt that he's the Master of Masters, although he does seem to have met MoM before. I quote Demyx directly from the Character Files book here: "Oh yeah, what is it that person used to say all the time? Something about a guiding key? Come to think of it, wasn't something guiding me?" Based on that quote, it is clear to me that Demyx is NOT MoM. He doesn't even remember the full phrase, whereas MoM clearly does. Although perhaps MoM was "that person" that Demyx was referring to.

The interesting thing about his character files is, it depends on perspective. Say if Demyx is theoretically the nobody of MoM, then that would make sense as he forget a lot about his past life.

@@Lyu-Phy Not exactly. "May Your Heart be Your Guiding Key" is the MoM's motto, and he says it constantly. Demyx doesn't remember the full phrase, even though he heard it before some times from another person, I suspect that person was the actual MoM. MoM remembered it fully in KH3 ReMind/Dark Road. Now looking at other Nobodies in relation to their original selves. Lea still retained his "Got it Memorized" catchphrase as Axel. Braig retained his "As If" pickup line as Xigbar, and Xigbar is Luxu too. If Demyx was MoM, or even a Nobody of MoM, I highly doubt that he would've forgotten MoM's frequent salutation. I'm not saying it's impossible for Demyx to be MoM, but I don't think he is MoM.

If I could tell my younger self that I'd end up liking Demyx and really curious to know more about the real him, I feel I would grow up to hate myself 🤣 KH2 Hollow Bastion fight was the death of me man.. 10yr old me just couldn't do it for the life of me. Until another 5 years went by and my friend wHO HAD NEVER PLAYED KINGDOM HEARTS BEFORE BEAT HIM IN 3 ATTEMPTS!!! 3!!!! I lost my fucking mind man.. He ez now though 🤣🤣🤣 fuck

I feel demyx is all ways the slacking off goofy guy who always never does his job even in kh3 radiant Garden scene Luxord does look like the driver but I can't see any Earrings on the unknown driver maybe it's a clone luxord? That quadratum made to make sora feel like other kh3 characters where there instead of Quadratum characters is it like a dark luxord like dark riku from chain of memories? Or a nobody luxord like how namine is a nobody from chain ⛓ of memories??
