@@gregcervantes9268 by the Picard timeline I think it has been in service for 15 years? As mentioned above, it got retired in Picard before it even launched in STO. 😆 I don't expect the TV show to respect the video game timeline. The last few years Star Trek shows can't even respect older Star Trek shows. But I don't really care about that either because I don't consider Picard to be the same universe as TNG. IMO there are three or four Trek timelines. Before 2009: TOS - ENT JJTrek 2009+: the Kelvin timeline and the 'prime' timeline old Spock came from that have the Hobus star explosion. All the major differences between the TV and movies pretty much forces any rational person to assume these are multiple different universes going on. _(No matter what the studio wants to try to make you believe.)_

At this point there's some fairly direct contradictions with Prime lore. Fortunately (as the newest chapter points out) the story of STO relies on ridiculous amounts of time travel; even two of the playable Federation intros rely on it. As such its easy to say the "main" timeline of STO is an alternate reality, while still inviting cameos like the Enterprise G (just needs to pop over from the Prime verse).

The odyssey class looks like an upside down dead frog on a shovel.... The Vengeance is better.

It's my favorite ship on screen so far. I'm disappointed to see it basically got retired early. The Titan A also being renamed Enterprise is a disappointment and an insult to the crew of the Titan, especially Shaw.

It isn't a runway, but it is considered additional parking for smallcraft. And in canon, that floating about is mostly done by tractor beams and automation, otherwise you end up with Sulu smashing the nacelles off the bottom and careening into a crash net (yes I know there's more to that example, but it still stands).

I dont think that would be possible and its terrible on the Switch.😂

The New-Connie might probably be a lock-box ship. And of course they're not gonna retcon the whole STO lore for a third-season of Fan-Service: the show.

It really annoys you when people have to come from out of nowhere talking about how they feel about things that you like. Neat.

I will never, as long as I live, understand people claiming that Trek has somehow become all "SJW" *now*. This is the show that was conceived, from the outset, as a way to use a sci-fi setting to talk about social issues of the time without the network suits realising it. TV's first inter-racial kiss (albeit the take shown was the one the networks insisted on where they don't actually kiss), a future where "size, shape and colour makes no difference" (yes, that's a direct Kirk quote), repeated instances of war being a last resort and mercy, compassion and understand were always the goal to strive for... hell the very first pilot episode had a female first officer, in the mid-60's! It's easy to overlook now but that was a big deal at the time. If you have a problem with current Star Trek's ideals then I'm afraid you've rather missed the point of the entire ST universe...
