Maybe I'm biased, but even without going into the ethics of it, I'd rather have two good impressionists do a passable job then have an AI give an uncanny valley level performance because it would sound better.

@spinoguy agreed ,the work on this video is proof that humans can actually do great voice work ,ai wasn't used for the 80s cartoon and the movies so why use ai now . Let people appreciate actors and they're hard work so they can get the recognition they deserve, no ones gonna say : hey ai you did a good job voicing Optimus prime .

I really liked how they highlighted the diffrence between optimus and megatron in their conversations With hot rod, After Hodrod had to blow up his Home City. With megatron saying That hotrod should discard his guilt, while optimus says That as leaders it is their responsibilty to carry the guilt.

Makes his later turn even better.

There was a saying I read how, most revolutionary leaders want nothing to with the governance that comes after a major power shift. I feel like, had the war dragged on long enough, even Megs would've inevitably tired out, especially when you factor in his 'ends justify the means'. The major problem, however, would be when Megs tires himself out enough to be disposed by a subordinate, and to what fate lay in the hands of a 'Con controlled Cybertron.

What’s even more surprising is that this was written by the guy who wrote MTMTE. He did find a way to reconcile it, and it actually turned out rather well.

Well Roberts was a big fan of Marvel UK, so probably it was. For exemple Overlord was in The last stand of the Wreeckers as main villian because was Nich Roche (artist and writter of the comic) favorite figure when he was a kid xD

I’d say he’s still a bad guy, Even Megs called himself a monster that could never undo his horrible actions and said he deserved the worst at the end of this comic and gave up on his philosophy and decepticon ideology. Right destination or not he still killed over 100 billion people because he saw them as less then him.

@@2bdaqueen268 I don’t deny Megatron is down right ruthless and is the “bad guy” but so is the society that the transformers live in, I would argue that society is far worse than Megatron. Your life was laid out for everyone, you might be a law enforcement officer, a medic or a fighter in GLADIATOR FIGHTS just for the entertainment of others. That society does not like those who want to become more or something else. How many have died being force to be what they weren’t not allowed to question, far more than Megatron has killed for sure.

The novelization and other media had Prime accepting the truce but when it leaked they changed it so he killed him.

The two literally would of teamed up against sentinel. And Orion didn't betray him, he went with Megatron to expose their ideas together to the council, how is it his fault that they prefered Orion over Megs given the way they both expressed themselves? Who are they gonna choose the violent one with thirst for power and revenge or the peacful more level headed one? He only saw it as a betrayal because of his massive ego, and even before then he had already ordered the Decepticons to commit acts of terrorism

@@cahe6161 I know Orion didn’t betray Megatron when the went to the council but the way Megatron saw it as Orion used him to get what he wanted. I know what you mean with Orion’s vision they saw a peaceful Cybertron whereas with Megatron’s vision they saw a future full of bodies and destruction.

The scars in civil war run deeper because a unspoken fundamental trust has been broken. War isn't just an argument, or disagreement its a shattering of safety of innocence, of a belief that we have some inherent moral limits to what we are able to do to each other as a species. But as you said the difference between a war with a foreign country is that you can use the “they aren't one of us” logic it's inherently bigoted and racist but you are not wrong in it being effective in helping your soldiers dehumanize your enemies. But a civil war the enemy for all intents and purposes is your brother, your friend, someone who you have shared laughs with someone you've shared ideals with and because your country couldn't work through an issue without violence you now must kill each other. And when the war is over and the dead are collected and put to rest those alive are forced to remember the things they've said, the wounds they inflicted, and the scars that will forever remain

Nope, I use a sfx pack that features most of the sound effects from the G1 cartoon. I pitch up and pitch down the sound whenever I need to.

No AI. It's actually three separate tracks of the same take, each with an echo effect added and with two of them pitched slightly up and down, respectively. It's a little much, I'll admit. I'm still finding a healthy balance between them sounding like robots and still having my natural performance come through.

Megatron gets arrested and subjected to a fumbled attempt at assassination, thus learning the value and applicability of violence.

It's the filter that goes on their voices, it's been used countless times for the Transformers.
