THE COOLEST MR2 MODIFICATION? (How to install dual fan shroud)

In this tutorial I show you how to install a super easy and cool modification for the Toyota MR2. This carbon fiber fan shroud is cool and functional! This mod is relatively cheap and easy to install. It requires basic tools and can be done in a day! I’d suggest having a friend help remove the engine lid because it’s a bit awkward to do alone.

Hey man, great video! Not too many on this mod up on KZfaq. I have a question, where do you get all your titanium bolts from? I 5hink I want to start withy engine bay and figured the cf shroud would be a great start! Thanks

Thanks for the comment! I get the bolts from Dress Up Bolts online. They make all sorts of colors and sizes!

Providing that the fans can run without the ignition key, you could use a timer to switch the fans off.

Awesome mod. So do the fans pull air from the bay or are they pushing air down onto the engine? Thinking about selling the greddy rad cap? I have a clone of your car and think that greddy cap would look good in my jdm 94T.

Thank you! I have them pulling the air from the engine bay. In my research it seems that’s the way to keep the engine bay coolest! I was going to hold onto the cap in case the Blitz one wears out! Thanks for watching!

I’ve been looking at the same mod but have been hesitant to order because of the wiring, so watching your video gave me a more clear picture of what is needed to be do done to do the install. Thank you!
