I was in a race last week and someone sailed on this boat solo and didnt even stay to receive his first prize. Crazy fast this boat was.

Used M24 $25K (Can), SE24 $100K(Can) If you really care about the environment, you buy the M24. If you want a nice cool new boat, you get the SE24.

New Melges is $80K and is much worse quality. Also, Melges comes with a lifting keel. No thanks. I would rather have a real boat, not a dangerous gimmick.

Main sheet traveler?

Behind the tiller. It is set up a bit like a sailing dinghy where the main sheet comes down the middle of the boom but is anchored at the transom. Pretty clever way to have a cleaner cockpit. I like it.

At €70k plus vat and then sails on top it seems pricey for a 24 footer.

you people should go and check out the Sarch boatyard... same concept, but lighter and stronger carbon built. Small boatyard that spends its money on building, not on advertising ;-)

Er I don't think Saffier have ever advertised with us @JonaBlomme - however I do know after sailing most of their models over the last 15 years or so, that they design and build fun and practical boats to a high quality> T
