When I first played Acrobat, I was worried that flying would be hard. But tbh the journey to finally be able to fly infinitely developed muscle memory so I know the optimal timing and everything

Acrobat flying really isn't as complicated as it looks, basically u spell cycle quickly between lacerate and dash If u run outta mana then then use righting reflex for a bit, walljump has a niche use of being good at scaling vertical heights combined with dasherete Source: assassin main

I mean. Mage is the easiest to move with but the lamest. With lightbender, morph-set and Stave of the legends, u can just use teleport 4 times, 1 ice snake/heal, repeat cycle, and u just fly forever. That's how I travel to Qira Hive from Cinfras in about 20 secs for example

heh, casual. gale's sight + mr wand (used stave cuz i had nothing on that class) with manastorm ability on the tree: 8tp heal/snake cycle WITHOUT ANY ARMOR AND ACCESSORIES OTHER THAN HELMET

I'd say that shaman has the easiest way to move as because if you use blood link and mask of the fanatic with good intelligence the totem should only cost around 5 mana so you can pretty much fly forever

flying around as acrobat is actually really easy if you know how to time hop to line up with lacerates upwards boost, which gives you a MASSIVE vertical boost, so the best way to do it is 1. dash up 2. use lacerate 3. time hop with lacerate's upwards boost 4. repeat steps 2 and 3 5. dash 6. repeat steps 2-5

With archer, the skill "Bouncing Bomb" actually does give you the option to stack two explosions if you are close enough to geometry that lets you. The easiest and most consistent way to do this is to be close to any sort of vertical block stack and shoot near the bottom of the bottom block while jumping. The arrow will bounce and explode twice, once on the wall and once on the floor. The trapper skill grape shot doesn't seem to work consistently as the extra smaller bombs spawn too late for the player to be in the radius of the explosion. You can also do tech that is arguably like TF2 rocket pogo or speedshotting, just shooting the bomb arrow before you hit the floor maintaining momentum.

for archer I found some extra things you didn't mention in the vid. using the momentum of escape you can boost rocket jump a bit further. using bouncing bomb or/and grape bomb with rocket jump does allow you to get the momentum of 2 rockets but it doesn't always work since it scatters at random

On archer I like to use rocket jump to knock myself back then use escape midair. It’s like spamming escape over and over except that you reset spell costs so you can chain it forever (provided you have enough mana sustain of course).

u can fly with just lacerate and dash by timing it correctly to elaborate, if u cast dash just as u get the boost from lacerate, then u get the momentum of both thus only requiring way less mana and moving much faster as gliding also reduces the amount of momentum u get

Aside from flat escaping, Boltslinger can also fly (until it runs out of mana) by spamming arrow storm at the ground. Edit: ig it was implied at 5:55

7:30 or... you could find a corner anywhere. if there is a block in front of you, you can aim it so that the arrow will bounce from the block to the ground, or ground to the block which sends you flying like crazy

One thing about acrobat that you missed is that if you have a bunch of jump height and cast lacerate just before you touch the ground you get launched around ~40blocks in the air

another thing with archer escape, you can make it completely horizontal, making you travel... a little faster. you can perform this via jumping directly before casting escape. an easy way i found to do it is to left click twice, then time space with the last left click. imo its basically impossible with quick cast

There are also ways to infinitely teleport with mage, if you reduce teleport casting to 1, and unlock the spell ‘mana storm’ you can infinitely teleport so long as you cast ice snake or meteor occasionally to keep teleport costs low. Making it probably the easiest method of flying in the game I believe

on mage, nightbaker forgor time dilation + arcane speed can (iirc) reach speeds way faster than archer combine it with warp's 200% ws and you can zoom around so fast (well i haven't tried it but it should work in theory)

There's a lot more nuance to regular Escape that's been glossed over here, pretty much all of the stuff I discussed in my forums thread a few years ago still applies in 2.0.

Additional movement tech i discovered. Grappling the ground far from you horizontally into a arrow bomb with rocket jump downward continues your grapple momentum and boosts you further, you can chain this to build speed and go long distances horizontally smoothly

A note about mage: teleport (in my experience), doesn't really work when going *down*, but what it does do it cancel ur vertical momentum. Source: I have never taken fall damage.

I mean you could somehow glitch nol so when you die during boss fight you become spectator even after the raid but idk exactly how to manipulate it but if you do then your a ghost… the best class :-)

It is possible to do multiple escape spells as archer, however it's dependent on your ping being within a certain range (too short and it won't work, too long and you will hit the ground before you can escape spell again). Pointing your camera slightly upwards on the first escape (aka when you are still on the ground) makes it more reliable with shorter pings. This also existed before 2.0, however since the update there have only been 3 or 4 few times where I have managed to use escape spell 3 or more times before touching the ground. Combining this with double jump creates a strange, but fun method of movement (unfortunately it's a pain to use it in areas with lots of trees): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mJyja8lqqa-lnGw.html

homie completely disrespected archer escape ability. if you jump right as you are using it, it launches you way farther, and if you were to turn around after casting and sprint in the direction you are going while in mid-air you go even further.

Also If you look up as acrobat use spin attack and time your dash with the up lunch of the spin attack you can get much higher up which ia good when you want to get up or something
