In the terminology of the Quran, "Bait" refers to a state that soothes the intellect or provides solace to it, enabling us to attain peace and tranquillity, or allowing our minds to find rest. This is achievable when we elevate our inner Abraham to the status of an Imam, as the task of Abraham and Ishmael is to purify this "Bait" - a term that does not refer to a physical house, but rather to our inner selves or the house of our Allah.
In Quranic terminology, "Taif" or "Tawaf" are thoughts that revolve around the mind like a tornado. Wandering or circulating thoughts are referred to, or it would be better to say, excessive wandering thoughts are called. We have two types of thoughts that circulate or revolve around our own Kaaba:
1. Good thoughts
2. Bad thoughts
When good thoughts, which are very rare, revolve around our Qibla and Kaaba, then it is a significant occurrence. Due to these thoughts, a person cannot find peace or relaxation because they are constantly focused on achieving their goal or their Qibla. Afterward, they conquer Mecca within themselves because there is a battle going on inside them. Good thoughts can also be like Taif/Tawaf.
In the context of the Quran, mostly corrupt thoughts are called Taif, and the reason for this is the ignorance of humans regarding their own script or personal book, as they do not recognize the book of Allah.
