for me the best way is to watch the episodes in the order they are released. if someone has a big secret they have been dealing with that will be shown in the other season . it wont be a twist. watch it like you were a fan years ago. you would watch the vids when they are released so thats what new fans should do if they want a twist like its supposed to be

I’m so incredibly grateful!!!! I’m a veteran aphmau fan, and I started my journey with her watching diaries and watched a lot of my street but then grew out of it. Now I’ve come back to watch it all and I’ve been so frustrated cause I felt like I didn’t understand anything cause I started from the high school stories. Only thing that kept me “zane” haha was the fact that I knew they were going to be together, but it was so hard just seeing all that without understanding anything. Well just thanx man.

Thanks man, I've been wondering myself how the timeline of this series is. I've been watching this series for a while now, Especially when the actual series starts, not like phoenixdrop, but like, when the story was actually forming. It's also a breath of fresh air that I don't have to check out diaries, because whilst it might be a fun story, it looks like the earlier seasons were like a sort of gaming commentary along side a roleplay, something I'm not that interested in. Maybe if I wasn't spoiled with the higher quality videos that came out, I might give diaries a go.

if your rewatching it, like me, i would recommend watching it in order of timeline (chronological order) because i already know the characters and will remember them, so don’t need to worry about that

Whilst I understand your ordering I have to disagree, when I first watched the mystreet series I started with pdh and went from season 1 and 2 back to back, and I believe the Ein twist actually works perfectly because in season 2 he was the interest and conflict, once it was resolved it would've given a 1 and done resolution to the viewer, only to have him reappear later as a major antagonist, which to me at least is where the real twist comes in, not because he's the antagonist but because he's back

Idk seems like a cool idea but then again watching it in order gives you a reason to remember what happened in the first seasons and you get watch characters grow over time instead of being somewhat confused bc you haven’t seen the rest rest of the series

I believe watching it by from pdh and then continuing chronologically is much simpler than alternating between season 2 of pdh and season 4 of ms because it makes much more sense to watch it in chronological order than by release date because authors usually have most of the story planned out beforehand but seeing how much the plot changed for season 4 and anything released after it just for the story to make sense makes your method fit to the actual plot more

Way back when, I was caught up with Aphmau’s videos and was able to watch her series in the correct order. But now you made my life so much easier and made a whole playlist thank u!

Honestly, I completely agree with the way he ordered this. I started out with mine-craft diaries (When first watching aphmau) then ended up watching everything in chronological order. Now you will be fine watching it this way, but if your gonna watch aphmau then lemme tell you this. There is a lot more than meets the eye. For example: Foreshadowing. In some of the mystreet seasons there will be things you need to know but might skip over if you watch it on chronological order. So you need to watch it in the correct order in order to know all of whats going on in the later seasons (Season 6). But I didn't know that so I ended up being hella confused. But I ended up going back and watching the seasons in the order shown in this video (or close to it) . And I promise you will not be dissapointed. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk :D

Omg THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I was so confused... I was a big fan of Aphmau as a kid and decided to get back into her series now as I’m older. But I had kinda forgotten how to watch them.... I started watching Phoenix drop high s1 and s2 then moved on to grad days and FC university, I got about halfway in FC university and had a mental breakdown knowing the relationship aph and Aaron had would just disappear 😂. So thanks for the help! Also I agree on The Minecraft Diaries, as a kid I tried to start them after getting hooked on mystreet and watching them in literally a day or two but...I didn’t get very far because I got bored and the graphics weren’t as good since The Diares are one of her first serieses. Also sorry for this long comment but keep up the great vids!

I feel like PDH should've been its own au because it doesn't connect too well with Mystreet in terms of continuity, at least what had aired before it. (I.e. travis is aphmaus friend in highschool, when in mystreet season one they've never met before)

Thanks for explaining this! I've been watching since season 2 of Diaries came out and I never knew how to introduce it to new friends! I'm planning on starting off with chronological order till the end of the university season for them though and then tell them to watch season 4 straight after. Because season 1, 2 and 3 I don't think are too important since it wasn't that serious and worst quality from pheonix drop season 2 as well. When they start season 4 though I will fill them in on the very few important facts that they need to know from those seasons.

Another thing about the Ein twist, he DOES get shown to become the antagonist even back then, so even if you do remember Ein the impact wouldn’t be as big because you remember that he already became the antagonist long ago

I got into Aphmau during season 1 so I was always so curious of how they met and why Aaron wore the bandana, etc. At that time I didn’t realize that the order she released the seasons in really made it 10x more enjoyable since you got to stay curious. Usually when recommending Aphmau to friends, I would tell them to watch it chronologically starting from Phoenix drop high but after watching your video, I’ll definitely change that to starting with the big misunderstanding. Now, I did actually watch Mystreet in Chronological Order. I thought that maybe if I knew what happend first, it would be easier to understand. But now that I think about it, this would have been the better way to watch it. I mean, I still understood what happend after research and stuff. And I didn't watch Minecraft Diaries either. I just researched whatever I didn't understand on the Aphmau Wiki (Yes there is an Aphmau wiki) . But I feel like it would have been more effective if I watched it this way. Mystreet is really good though, and I encourage anyone who hasn't yet to WATCH IT. Excuse my terriable spelling.

Complicated but it makes more sense! From how I see this, it feels like PDH is a flashback (especially on how Ein became to be the main antagonist of the story) or a recap of how Ein became to be in Aphmau's life, timeline wise. As someone who grew up at the same time Jess was uploading simultaneously on different days of each episode of the series (I was in 5th grade, I am currently an upcoming 2nd year in college), it makes it frustrating for those who are new because of the fillers in each series and by how long mystreet is. In my opinion, if they plan to watch the whole series in a more chronological order, they need to actively pay attention in each episode. Like: PHD S1 & Woof's tale Part 1 & 2 > PHD S2 > PHD: Graduation Days > Falcon Claw University > The Big Move (Side Stories) > Mystreet S1 > Mystreet: Love~Love Paradise S2 > Mystreet: Lover's Lane S3 > Mystreet: Emerald Secret S4 > Aphmau's Year > Mystreet: Starlight S5 > Mystreet: When Angels Fall S6. I think Jess really puts in the effort of how each characters grows and develop along the journey of Aphmau and Aaron's love story; which most plot of other shows/anime series don't have because it's focused more on the main characters (which mostly ends under 12 or 24 episodes or nothing more proceeds after they confessed to each other). Which my personal fave was Kawaii~Chan's character development and how KC x Zane came about! But nonetheless, thank you for providing the playlist! I'll rewatch in this order to see the difference it makes. :) (I was thinking of making a playlist too like this but I was flabbergasted that you have already done it! So thanks again!)

I normally would watch them the way they were released because that’s how I watched when it was being released. It can be very confusing but this is how I do it. I love this series and I’m so upset that COVID-19 put the series on hold. Can’t wait to see them continue the series!

Low key diaries bleeds into Mysteet so much the beginning might be long but while watching diaries and mysteet at the same time there is a lot that goes hand in hand

I feel like if you don’t watch Minecraft Diaries you aren’t going understand When Angels Fall ( Season 6) When Angels Fall has a lot to do with characters from Minecraft Diaries. Characters like Irene, Shad, Alina , etc. You would probably get the characters from both of the series mixed up and have a lot of questions. It’s a lot of episodes but it’s worth it. Minecraft Diaries came out when i was a bit younger so I did have to rewatch it because i’m not gonna remember everything from such a long time ago lol. Also she never finished Minecraft Diaries Season 3 and in When Angels Fall there is clips from that time and you kinda know what’s gonna happened next for MCD.

For season 6 I recommend having at least a basic knowledge of MCD because it sets a path of better understanding of season 6. Edit: I thought about this again and honestly think the best way to fit diaries in is watch season 6 of mystreet, then watch diaries 1 and 2, after that watch her wish then finish with what there is of season 3 of diaries.

You know, i like this. I finnished watching mystreet like a month ago. And it was knada confusing but not rly. I was able to finish, all of MYSTREET last, last, month (1,2,3,4,5,6) then watched MCD. Cause i just discovered it. And the only reason i was really able to watch it all in a month was because....... I ONLY. SLEPT. FOR. A. FEW. HOURS... AND I KNOW IT WAS NOT GOOD FOR ME.. I always rewatch in chronological order i understand what he means with the whole Ein reveal but i already know so it dosent really ruin anything for me its more probably for people watching it for the first time. The only issue i have with watching it in chronological order is the dip and jump in quality in the first few seasons like it gose from season 1 of pdh to season 2 of pdh and fc University which released years later with much better quality then all the sudden drops to season 1 of my street which came out years before those 2 seasons with drastic decline in quality. Btw when i say quality i dont mean story wise i mean as in voice acting and 'animation' and other stuff

i personally watch the series in timeline order but it totally makes sense why people should watch pdh2 and s4 at the same time. for me, timeline works because it helps us get to know characters better before getting to the drama. because like you said if we watched season 5 why would we wanna watch fcu instead of season 5. so watching in timeline order would allow us (or me) to willingly watch fcu. i will say though, the only confusing thing about watching it in timeline order is that in high school aaron doesn’t have the bandana. then during college and s1 he does and then after that he gets rid of it again. which understandably would be confusing as hell 🤣

I don't really know what's the problem in watching it in a chronological order but I guess it just worked for me because i watched all of MyStreet in one week so it was easy for me to remember who Ein was... I watched Aphmau wayback when I was 6 - 7 and I didn’t know it. I started watching Aphmau a couple years later. I was mostly into Mystreet and the mini games, so I didn’t really know much about Minecraft Diaries. I started watching Minecraft Diaries season 3 after I watched When Angels Fall. If you are wondering why I skipped ahead to MCD S3 first, that’s because it was the first season that plopped itself on my recommended. So I technically started watching MCD S3 by accident. I watched the episode ‘She Is Irene’ and then I remembered it.

This isn’t even counting all the side series that expand the lore. For example my inner demons

To be honest, PDH is just a plot device season used to explain things that will happen later on in the mystreet series. For instance PDH season 2 was made to show Ein and his rise to being an antagonist. Also to foreshadow his appearance in Mystreet season 4, which to be honest made it kind of easy to figure out Ein was the big bad.

I started watching in chronological and this is SO MUCH BETTER.

For new viewers aphmau's series should be watched by date aired imo. That said you forgot some side stories from even before the big move. Namely Aphmau's spin on fnaf which is referenced in the big move and in mystreet s1 (at least the remake but I'm pretty sure the og too) where kawaii chan says aph makes a lot of money and asks what she does and aph just says "some night job". So i believe watching from the fnaf series as well as the autumn and trick or treat side stories is better than jumping right into the big move.(although I'm not sure there's much significance to the side stories beyond reintroducing characters from diaries into the mystreet realm before you get to mystreet.) There's also the sleepover side stories which I'm not sure where they line up as I haven't watched them in a while but they shoukd be included too. Otherwise great video for it's time! So glad your playlist is still avaliable to watch in partner with this video. Love these aphmau in depth dive videos from you!❤

You could watch “the big move” before PDH but I wouldn’t recommend doing so. As someone who watched mystreet a lot it would confuse some people. Even if Jess posted “the big move” first it wouldn’t add up with Pdh. So let me explain quickly: at the start of Pdh Garroth never liked Aphmau. That’s when they first met. Garroth and Aphmau met in Pdh first. And that’s when he developed a crush on her. And same thing with Laurence. Aphmau met everyone in Pdh. She had no friends to start off with. If you watch “the big move” first you see she is friends with everyone. But I wouldn’t make sense to watch the big move than Pdh. Because Pdh is about Aphmau meeting her friends. And in the big move she had those friends. So you would mess up the timeline. Order to watch mystreet: Pdh 1 Pdh 2 Fc university Graduation days The big move Season 1 Season 2 Season 3 Season 4 Season 5 Season 6 Her last wish And my opinion watching Pdh 2and emerald secret at the same time isn’t as cool. You can watch Pdh 2 and be like “oh this ein guy seems good. Then be like yikes he’s a bad guy.” And then after watching like all the things leading up to season 4 your like “wait this guy again I remember him. He’s back now?!” Watching them at the same time makes it seem “oh I just saw this guy eh who cares.” Watching Pdh 2 first makes it seem like ein is gone but when he’s revealed as the Villian it’s exciting. I recommend this order. (Btw the Pdh with the white haired cats pov if just Pdh but with another students pov. It’s optional to watch. Same with woof’s tail. It’s just woof’s POV)

I've been a fan for a very long time now so I watched most of them as they were coming out and it got very confusing. So I would definitely recommend watching like this.

You also have to watch MCD so you won’t be confused with small minor hints aphmau drops in her stories.

I personally like it in Cronalgical order ^^ And I definitely recommend watching Mcd ( Minecraft diaries) it has a lot of important information for season 6 I don’t think it matters as much which order you watch it in but I think watching mcd after is better

I watched this series starting back when Minecraft Diaries Season 1 was called Season two (before Origins was renamed) watching it in order of release made a lot of sense at the time. Especially since there was a lot of references to events that happened in Minecraft diaries (Garroth referencing a kiss in the first ever MyStreet side story) all relationships were based more off of what they were in Diaries than anything else.

The right way to watch this is to go back in time when mystreet first started and go from there.

I watched MyStreet in order before I watched THIS video 😭. I'm so lost
