I also got that fiberglass mafia kit but I can't stand seeing the mounting screws, so I'm gonna blend it into the body.

Great looking wide body flares. All the wide aftermarket fenders on the market fit like garbage. I really like the idea of keeping the OEM body panels and using them with the flares. Amazing job and attention to detail.

Agreed the rule is if it was cheap from a body co you will pay through the nose for it at the body shop, These fit like trash as well, They took roughly 100hrs to get correct, even, and flush to the body panels and in one of the videos I even changed the angles so they flow with the body lines. I’m glad you like their fit and finish thank you 🙏

If you are looking for wide body let me suggest a few reputable aftermarket mfrs. C7 Carbon WB kit $9,000 kit only. Calloway Corvette $20-30k Caravaggio $28,000 installed. J&D Corvette $4-6k kit. Pandem Aero $6,000 kit.

Structure! We were waiting on the wheels to be built now that they are done and on the car we will mark the fenders and only clearance what’s needed retaining as much fender structural integrity.

Not on this one it’s coming from an accelerometer on the front but we’ll see the car back on the channel soon with that correction and it’s wheels and tires.

I like the wide look but not totally the bolt on look🤔. This looks like the frc but not the Z06. My Z06 is black, so the add on flares would blend in and hide the flare edge and screws better. I noticed there is no gasket at the front of the hood to seal the gap and prevent rain water or wash water from running through and getting the air filter wet. That wasn’t a problem with the enclosed factory air filter but can be with an open air filter. Thanks

It’s not much of a drive in the rain car any longer and a little water in a hot engine is a old carbon removal hack! The steam loosen carbon on the valves and pistons rap the throttle a couple times and it blows out the back.

It’s a tough look combining two very different car cultures on a car that’s still very much a purist automobile although it’s slowly changing. You are also correct in that this particular car is a Manual FRC. I’m curious what you would think of my C5 FRC/Targa/Coupe build on the channel?
