This system can actually power a borehole (0.5hp or 0.75hp) provided u switch off the fridge and freezer at that moment

The batteries give off gasses such as hydrogen, which is very corrosive n will damage the inverter over time as the batteries are directly below. Those batteries needs to be exposed to out side. Must not be lock up, gasses are also very flammable

Most of these product are overrated. Even at 0.5 power factor, a 3.5kw system should easily run a 1.5kva pump. The 3.5kw is most likely an ac sinewave peak power.

@masudsaleh5155 what do you mean by add inverter? Ur inverter depends on the load u want to power while ur battery is the amount of energy u want to store, its like ur power bank, the bigger the more charges u can get.

Numbers of batteries is more of a function of backup time and not inverter kva ratings, all you need check is to ensure that the battery(ies) connection mode supports the voltage rating of the inverter. So in the case of this video, your inverter can be 1.5kva, 2.5kva, 3.5kva or more but they must be 24v calibrated to have atleast 2 batteries to be commreected to it in series. Note that for 24 volts inverter system, the batteries will be connected in series of 2s so that you can have 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 etc connected to the inverter.

It can’t. You have to consider the instantaneous start up power of the AC, which is usually 7 or 3 times the capacity of the AC. I usually don’t advise inductive loads on inverters only when it’s a low transformer load like fan. Some fans can even drain up your batteries in no time

He is educating the public, amongst who may not understand technical terms. A good educator is one who knows their audience and apply the right term they would understand. Even medical doctors are suppose to communicate in layman's terms and not medical jargons when communicating with non medical professionals. It is called good communication skills. Communication occurs when the involved parties understand one another not necessarily the accuracy of the term used. I understood what the Engr. explained as far as I'm concerned.
