No, they didn't have a proven seafaring culture and technology, native Americans came from northern Asia passing through the Bering strait to Alaska. Their phenotype is A BIT closer to north eastern Asians (especially the Inuits and other north American tribes). The native Americans from central and south America might have had contact with seafaring Austronesian people's (from which the Filipinos, Indonesians and Pacific island countries came from) but not the other way around. The closest and surest contact between central and south Americans is the Galleon trade (Manila - Acapulco trade route).
