Trust it was a nice meal - Is quite a deep poem if you look for the depth - isolation- unrequited love - escape to what - and regret etc - We gave our version a bit of a happy video ending!!

Serious Social Commentary, for the use of teachers of English Literature. "Mr Jones - his name is Handel - Handel Jones, Esquire, & Co." In other words, he's _trade_ - he's a member of the mercantile classes, he makes his money through selling chickens. However, his wife is _Lady_ Jingly - she has a title in her own right, she's (at least) the daughter of an earl. She has married below her station, and not for love. There's a darker story behind this than might meet the eye.
