🐺🌺 THE COYOTE RESCUE STORY - Flower & George Clooney!
Hello, dear Friends! 👋🏼
I've just come in from up in the hills, and let me tell you, it's been a long (nearly) 5 months since I rescued beautiful little Flower on the side of the road. Here's her story along with her handsome mate, George Clooney. (Apologies to the real George Clooney for snagging your name, but he was such a dream!)

Disney’s The Fox and the Hound is basically this same story (for the fox). But in case you haven’t seen it yet, load up on tissues and Gatorade for rehydration replenishment before you watch because it a doozy of a tearjerker.

@@mannyfragoza9652 ohhh you’d remember if you saw it lol. When I was little I loved the Fox and the Hound but whenever I pulled out the VHS to give to my mom to put it on, she’d exclaim “oh no no we are not watching this one today!” 😂 I once asked her why she bought the movie in the first place if it made her so sad and she said “I thought it would just be a cute story about a fox and a puppy!” To this day she refuses to watch it for fear of turning into a blubbering mess. But it really is a great movie with a lot of tough, but important, lessons baked in.

My father has been a Ferrier for 45 years and still going strong. His clients see him in such a positive light - and it is really amazing to see people think so highly of your parent. But he has always told me that vets are TRULY super heroes... and this story mirrors so many he has told me growing up. It was extremely heart warming, in a personal way. Thanks for sharing!

I have a 20 year old daughter and a 12 year old daughter and I completely understand that big sigh close to the end. As mothers we just never stop worrying about our kids and we almost can't help but get pulled into their things even when they are out of the house. I absolutely loved seeing Flower and George Clooney and knowing there are people out there that will go out of there way to help these poor creatures. Lots of love being sent your way from Texas, Jeannie!

I was kind of, waiting for that moment right near the end where the emotional release and weight and all of it came out. I mean, I was feeling it---associating the story of Flower and George Clooney with similar experiences I've had. Thank you for keeping those real, authentic, personal responses in your videos. I hope anyone who sees this can send a few dollars over to Sierra Wildlife so that this kind of amazing story can be retold and retold and retold. Thanks for telling this one Jeannie.

Jeannie, you have an incredibly beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience and for reminding us to look for the "Flowers" among the weeds. I wanted to add as I was watching this awesome story unfold, I had my rescue dog, Mac at my side. As I was petting his warm fur, I could imagine you petting Flower. We got our boy with a crushed leg and mange so bad we weren't sure he was a "dog" at first. He turned out to be this beautiful little red spotty cattle dog and he reminds me of a coyote. He has managed to live 13 years and is going strong with his little gimpy leg. He has not let it slow him down at all. I wish the same for your special baby, Flower. I'm sure she (and George Clooney) will have fabulous adventures together. You were meant to find her and get her back on her journey. ❤️❤️❤️

Aw, thank you for this, Ellen! As for my mail care, it’s so easy! I just go every 3 weeks/or once per month for a manicure. They put a heavy gel coat on which keeps them strong. (Otherwise they’d break!) 💅🏼

I loved every second of this! I 😭 when George Clooney hesitated during the release. Flower is so precious! I admire your big heart Jeannie and the measures you took to give them the best life possible. I have a soft spot for animals as well. So grateful for you and Sierra Wildlife rescue. I had a dog that made friends with a coyote & had a litter of coydogs. The coyote ended up taming down & he'd let me pet & love on him.

Wow! That’s incredible. The rescue people told me coyotes themselves don’t make good pets when tamed as they’re just too skittish. (I asked!) 🥰

@@JeannieBASMR yeah, he wasn't fond of fast movements or me approaching him. He'd get snappy if spooked to the end. He eventually would even jump in the back of the truck with my dog. They looked like Mutt and Jeff with her weighing in at 140lb lol

You remind me of my mom and grandma so much, they both have/had such a compassion for animals that they passed on to me and my sisters. This story, especially, reminded me of my grandma, who worked closely with Wolf Park in Indiana for decades, and met many a coyote like Flower and George.

I live near a large cemetery in Toronto. I go there to feed the wildlife whenever I can. I see a few coyotes and they look so emaciated. I wish that they would come closer so that I can feed them but they are so afraid of people. (and rightfully so). My heart goes out to these poor animals.

Aww...you can leave food out there for them. The rescue people told me to make a noise every time I come, like a low whistle or clapping. Not a voice as they are naturally afraid of them. Then they get used to that noise and the ensuing food. (Think Pavlov!) ;o)

That was kind of you to help Flower, she was blessed to cross paths with you Jeannie. Life is not just a random series of coincidences, things do happen for a reason. PS -I worked on a film with George Clooney - he had to leave the production for a few days to attend the Academy Awards - and he won an award - when he returned, on his first day back on set he passed the Oscar around to the crew and cast so we all could hold it - it was heavier then I would have imagined - that was a really nice gesture on George's part to share and include us - behind the scenes he is a very down to earth, easy going, nice gentleman.

Your newest video brought me here. Another great video and I'm only a few minutes in. Yorkshire Tea is the best (I'm a Yorkshire boy!) Thank you for your videos. I have a leaking roof causing a lot of anxiety and you have managed to send me off to sleep most nights. Thank you for everything you do.

I had a similar experience with a cat. He wasn't injured but sick. I nursed him back to health when he had colds, pulled ticks off of him, drained abscesses (from scratches from fights). I barely had money to take care of myself so i couldn't take him to the vet at the time, but i did the best that i could. A year or so later i thought he was having seizures but it turned out to be an infection that was getting to his brain. Antibiotics cleared that up but i found out he had feline leukemia and feline aids. He lived about another 2 years. I went through so much more than that with him but i'm not trying to write a book in the comment section. 😂 i feel like God sent him to me, kind of like how you said it was like flower's spirit called out to you.

Hi Jeannie, I LOVED your beautiful story about saving Flower. And, loved that Flower met George Clooney 🥰. I don’t know if I would have been so courageous as you were. Awww jeannie that was just lovely, although Flower breaking her leg multiple times had me wincing, and yes George Clooney certainly is a handsome coyote. This is such a moving story 😢 thank you for saving her life, especially because I suppose not a lot of people would do this for a coyote, because they are so wild and not friendly with people. But they are so important for our world as every other living creature out there. So, the fact that you did all that for them is huge. Thank you so much for your kindness and conscience ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I love this story. She looked so dehydrated in the car, but at the end she looked very hydrated and healthy. We get coyotes round my part of California sometimes, but you usually see them at night. The drought has brought them closet to neighborhoods. All the animals are thirsty here.

I started following you a few weeks ago, I particularly love your asmr, they bring me enormous peace, I feel good, I just finished watching this video and now I'm here trying to digest it, crying and crying nonstop, I I am completely in love with animals, I believe you had a very strong connection with Flor and I am so happy that Flor and George Clooney had a happy ending and thinking what a beautiful human being Jeannie, what a beautiful story, warmed my heart! ♥️😭

I'm crying because I'm an extreme animal lover. Thank you for being you. You saved her life. That's amazing! They're both so beautiful! And you truly have a beautiful heart! P.S. my prayers for your son are ongoing. I know several people with crohn's disease and not one of them has the same story of treatment or even the disease itself. I wish I had some kind of knowledge but I'm just a massage therapist. 😒 And I'm studying to become a psychologist so that doesn't help either. 💜🌷🙏

Thank you, Olivia! And thank you for your prayers for our son. Yes, it’s truly an individual disease, different in everyone. One thing that does help relax him is massage. He gets one per week and they are such blessings for him. And fyi - you will make a great psychologist!! ♥️♥️♥️

@@JeannieBASMR I donated ☺️🥰 btw I saw a fox in my hometown a couple nights ago, not 20 ft away from me. We just stood there staring at each other, until a car came by and scared it off. I was just in awe of how beautiful it was. I had heard rumors of them being in my town but I've never seen them before so I was blessed and I got to see one.
