The news hurt when I first heard it, It was a shock, but now it's a lot more painful knowing she's gone when she represents a lot more of my childhood and years ago than I ever realized. Her legacy was far more memorable than Linger in the movie Click. Her song Dreams was from You've got mail has been in my head at times over the past few months at least. Other songs of hers have tunes that bring familiarity as those have also come to mind every once in a while. At least he gave us many good songs and interviews to remember her kind humble nature by.

Her voice and her soul blessed us for all our lives

Her voice is the main thing we have left, her songs are preserved for all time. What we really miss is being able to follow her in anticipation of something new.

I know it is sad, but we have so much to look forward to from the rest of the band. I think they will be releasing each album as super deluxes like this. So many rare songs and things we've never heard or so clearly heard. Her legacy will definitely live on through the music. I'm sure they have so much to release still.

Yes so true sadly I always loved them as a band and she was amazing musically as well too!

As much as I loved her song linger I was guilty of not checking out her other songs. Even when I saw her band name on the you've got mail soundtrack I never bothered to hear dreams because I was too busy reminiscing a different song. When I finally heard that swing version of linger I had the nerve to be disappointed and even when she recently died I probably only played linger of I even paid her that much respect. I became her fan 3 years after her death and I regret casually shutting out of my life this positive influence who brings out the best in me. I've had multiple Dolores' in my life who were special to me and we would casually drift out of each others lives without realizing it. Only last March I have allowed these loses and regrets to hit me hard. I will make the most of the time I have with the Dolores I have in my life now because she's everything I was searching for without knowing it was her I was looking for.

Mr. J_Krr_ if they were, it would be the sound of some epic angels. All those singers came from a role model band I grew up to. I just turned 21. I’m an adult like them and now the minute I turned into an adult. All my role models that gave me hope for the future are all dead. It pains me. Makes me wonder what I can do to better our future. Music is a prime way to better media, pop culture, and everyone as an individual. Music shouldn’t be solely political but understanding and relatable and give everyone an open mind.

Good yo hear from someone who loves musics better side unlike me and giving a thought as it has a chance to improve our understanding. If we were from same place I might have proposed you to start a band together. I know piano acoustic and can do vocals but dang it.
