He battled hard with the like of Romain Febvre, Tim Gijser, Antonio Cairoli and many more great riders. Herlings overcame all odds and became the 2021 MXGP Champion. @@iustinsimon2547 gajser was good but kinda faded late in season. He definitely had a 3 peat in his hands and let it slip away from him

Herlings is pushing himself too much, riding in the absolute limit, hence his frequent injuries, wish he would consider his longevity a bit, but he is always 100% on the gas even though he says he barely does a 100%, humble and giving it his all, truly one of the best

Great edit dude! I would be interested in hearing you do a tiny bit of narration in the future. You did a great job summarizing this awesome championship battle. I never would have bet that Herlings would win after the start of the season.

Herlings injured pre season once again , making the season interesting once again ... he will miss most likely the first 2 GP's , but he can still win it .. with herlings you'll never know

Agree, Tomac is better though. Tomac doesn't crash like Hurlings - as a matter of fact, Tomac has only had one crash that took him out from racing which was in his early days when riding with Honda. Since then he's been lights out and no crashes with injury. Tomac = new GOAT!!!

So a concussion and a fractured hand is a bigger comeback than a broken neck & then coming back to get landed on breaking a shoulder blade & still winning that same race?

RC is great and no need to compare. US riders/RV have tried MXGP and it seems harder to dominate, Herlings tried an US outdoors race and rode like 🤘
