He didn’t turn into the colossal 😂. The titan body is just shown forming that way, by making bones, muscles and then skin.

Unfortunately when this happened years ago I didn't know how anything about anime seasons so I watched from season 3 part 1, and when I got confused, and internet was hyped for Attack on Titan, everyone talking about it, so I went to see what was happening, I remember watching some clips of Eren and Reiner fighting, I really thought it was MMA fighting but with giant monsters type shit, and after 6 months they announced the part 2 so I watched it and was not understanding anything, so I decided to watch it from the beginning, knowing who was Reiner and Berthold already 🤡 but because I didn't see season 1 I didn't know about Annie, so after watching it I got soooooo invested because I didn't know how amazing it was, because I didn't have any context of what was going on, traitor? huh what the heck 😂 so after season 3 ended I went to see the manga, the art style is different, WIT Studio did a good job, and to be honest, I have lost the count of how many times I have watched reactions of AOT, I know that after Dragon Ball Super ended I started watching a bunch of people 😅😂 and I don't get bored, I can definitely see myself watching someone else in the future 😄 this is the only way for me to keep Attack on Titan alive in my head

How deep does this go? Foreshadowing was crazy. In in the early episodes of Season 1 during their training arc when everyone was in the dining hall, Eren was telling the story of what happened to his district. The anime scenes panned to Reiner and Bertholdt the moment Eren mentioned about seeing the Armored and Colossal Titan destroying the walls.

49:55, my God, that was just the titan body forming, first the bones, then the muscles, that's why it was red. The colossal titan is red because he doesn't has skin, but we all have muscles under the skin.

So what I realized is that Reiner could pick up the Titan because they are really light, according to Hange. I never really thought about it. And yea, I was so sad by this. He was their big bro and seeing Eren crying...😭

imagine watching this without any subtitles having to pay attention to two conversations at once, the shock of the conversations themselves and the visuals? this is one instance where having subtitles is an advantage. Also HIGHLY recommend re watching because there are SO many clues all over the place form ep 1. And helps you understand the characters more. Esp Eren. When you identify deija vus ita not just that. These are very contextual themes that Izayama is highlighting again and again and it will pay off to keep them in mind and be aware if it.

Since the day you started this series, *we've* waiting for this reaction. It's not the best episode of AoT, but it is my favorite. "Father ... stop" People dying on a battlefield *commonly* call out to their mother as they die. She called out to her father. Perhaps she didn't get along with mom. Your reaction to "Five years ago..." Pretty standard. Some reactors miss it completely. Some read it and it confuses them but they keep going. My favorite is when they stop it and say the subtitles must be wrong. Very occasionally, they'll read it and freak out. Ref your reaction to "I'm the armored titan..." WE *NEED* A GIF OF THAT! New rule. Reactors have to be chained to the table so they can't run away! One of the best things about this episode is the OUTRAGE some reactors have to the infodump card for the lifts on the wall.

Before this episode we're made to think that the show's conclusion has to do something with the "Big Bois" aka the Colossal and the Armoured Titans. However this episode changes everything. No wonder it's a goated episode. Holy Hajime.
