Yep, most people have no idea how much energy is expended when you miss a damned punch or how heavy your hands become taking blow after blow. Best advice before you get into a ring, go condition yourself for at least 2 or 3 months, 3-4x a week. Even if you don't get much boxing practice in, you'll more than likely outlast your opponent and win :D LOL Boxing conditioning class is some of the most grueling you can subject yourself to. It is insane how much you can do in an hours time. Also, when you're training, train beyond the fight time, beyond the rounds, it is huge.

Now that was an impressive fight!! El Chapo is so smart. He covered up to let the initial storm go by and when a bit of gassing started from the big guy who was trying to get the highlight real KO. Next he started counter punching and crowding the big guy's longer arms. El Chapo tried the body, but soon realized that was a waste of time. LOL, those shots had almost no effect. Impressive the way El Chapo got his guard back up super fast after each offensive strike. That guy knows what he is doing. Outweighed by 100 lbs, El Chapo implemented the perfect game plan. Both fought hard! Congratulations for a great match and good sportsmanship.

what guard? the big guy never held his hands up for more than a second, if that then dropped them to throw the slowest most telegraphed hook, then would proceed to walk forwards a step or 2 with his hands below his waist, resets, rinse repeat. The only reason it looked even remotely even was that fact the small guy was a good 30+ lbs lighter, which begs the question why are they fighting in the first place

Agreed, that was an important, smart part of his strategy. But not the only thing. The accuracy on his punches was insane! If you are landing 50% of your punches, you are doing great.
