MOIN LEUTE/ HELLO EVERYONE,
Welcome back to a brand new video from the Nurburgring Nordschleife during the 2023 Touristenfahrten (Public driving) season, this time with some of the fastest Opel's we filmed on the track. Although Opel's (or Vauxhall if you are from the UK) aren't as popular as BMW's and Porsches on the track, I have started to see quite an increase of OPC (VXR) models on the track during the past season. Let me know which Opel is your favorite in the comment section below!

Yeah it was very underrated they made just too good cars back then but now its kinda dead like all other brands and there is nothing very exciting in their cars, there's no real sports car from opel now

Absolutely. And BMW fans constantly ignore that the E39 has a lot in common with the Omega B. The GM era made things happen.

Wenn ich an Opel auf der Schleife denke, kommt mir irgendwie immer der silberne G Astra vom Andreas Zummack in den Sinn. Opel ohnehin Tief verankert, schon immer in der Familie gewesen :D

Those calibra's are good looking cars even today. How do they generally handle on track, honestly and objectively speaking? Neutral? easy to step the tail out? lots of understeer? Manageable understeer that you can sort of neutralize with brake or throttle? heavy-feeling? Regardless I think they look sleek. These are uniquely opel enough that if I imported one to the U.S, it would definitely get some attention. Probably pretty rare these days though, so it might be hard to find one, let alone one in good original condition.

Hi, The understeer from the fwd is manageable. The rear could get loose but my Calibra just has other springs. Yeah to find a good one is hard. Maybe a Chevrolet from brazil?

Yep... And no one knows why. Driving my Corsa D for full 13 years this year and it still runs without any issues. Love the Calibra V6 DTM of '94

Wenn ich die Mantas, Asconas, Kadett & Corsa sehe denke ich mir es sollte 4-5 Tage im Jahr geben an denen NUR Klassiker bis zB. 1990 auf den Ring dürfen. Tage ganz ohne Plastikautos 🥰
