Defensive builder hut is a weird building, it's doesn't count as a defensive building when it's upgrading. Maybe supercell miss some bug that makes that happened

Lemme explain this... This is not a mistake from the game. The thing is that the fire ball targets the core of the building and not its borders. The TH is 4×4 and its core is way deeper than the hut. Even though the warden is targeting the TH, the core of the hut is closer than the core of the TH. I've discovered this in some FC in my clan... Ask me if you don't fully understand the idea😁

You are not getting right, Klaus used the ability before the Hut were deatroyed by king, but when that happened was too late. When you see the fireball is not when he sent it, it was before, in coc most of the abilities has dellay, for example Queen dying into invis ability.

Feel like the game's AI has gotten worse over the years

In that case clause needs to attack again in challenge because obviously the fireball target the townhall but it's not land to it😏

actually, by statics, the fire ball went to the nearest, which was 15 cells away (town hell was 16 cell)

I love fireball strategy, I use this everyday in LL and war in my second account. Sometimes I found this problem also when fireball locked the target to "Defense A" but landed to "Defense B".. Why? BUG ❓❓❓❓

I don't think it was a bug but an unfortunate mess up I think even Klause knee it couple happen That's why he used the 2 invisibility spells then waited fkr the 3rd one He wanted the warden to go closer I huess he just wants close enough The only real bug here woudl be the target promp targeting the townhall even tho it wasn't going to it

Fireball AI is dumb. Today my warden was attacking eagle.. so i popped the fireball and it went to another building 🤣🤣

Warden targets the TH but the fire ball targets the nearest defense, the builder hut. AI is correct

You guys don’t know how fireball works. But I’ve got you, lemme try to explain. Supercell has this stupid rule of three rule. On a warden charge, if three buildings are the same distance from the warden, the game’s AI will randomly pick a building for him to shoot. If you’ve used fireball a lot you’ve noticed the fireball does not always go towards the defense the warden is targeting/shooting. This is because the rule of three. That red cross hair that shows up is what the warden is targeting, it IS NOT necessarily where the fireball will go. So, when you activate a fireball you better be DAMN SURE the defense you want is the closest. In this situation, the builder hut must have been the same distance as the town hall and thanks to the randomness of the rule of three, the game’s AI chose the builder hut over the town hall. I guarantee you Klaus knows this. And though it’s frustrating, if he waited another half second he would have hit the town hall because his warden was walking at it. Or if he used his fourth invis on the builder hut he would have been good. Again, frustrating AI, but this is still on Klaus. Personally I wish fireball would ALWAYS go towards the defense the warden is targeting. But when the fireball is activated it picks a new target, not the one the warden is shooting. So if three buildings are equal distance, the fireball has an equal chance of going to any three. It can’t be that hard to code a fix for this, but whatever, we have to deal with this. I hope I explained that well

its wasnt the game's fault. troops and heroes target the border of buildings. the fireball targets the core. As the town hall is 4x4 and the builder hut is 2x2, it is possible that (and thats what happened): 1 - the th border is closer to the warden than the builder hut border, so thats why the warden targeted the town hall 2 - yet, at the same time, the builder hut core was closer to the warden than the town hall core, so thats why the fireball went for the builder hut Y'all can criticize the game in all ways, but you cant fight with AI lol... people can't understand where the mistake was so they blame the game... a bit childish
