My mate bought a car from them and the guy who went to pick it up, videos them doing this to a 14k Ford Kugar, or whatever the shiiit box was called. He got his money back, he had it on film. Who buys a car for 14k without going to see it first? ?

This way of loading has been going on for years, but the issue is that they tend to damage the underneath & any vehicle that has been sold the damage is new & the buyer does not know about it. I used to be in insurance & have caught them doing it to cars that were not write offs, just because it's easier for them. It is totally wrong.

Sandtoft is the handling agent for the disposal of many written off cars, some are auctioned off for repair and others have to be broken for spares only and many are exported and broken for spares as they command higher prices. Many of their vehicles are sold off illegally as they have not been paid out for by the insurers yet have been transported here allegdly for storage, but its still theft until they pay for the vehicle and I currently have a case against them for such theft.

These cars have been sold through Copart auction, the guy on the forks works for the scrap yard opposite Copart, Copart is a online only auction so you only get to see pictures of the car that you are bidding for, even the best mechanic will get his finger’s burnt when buying a car through Copart

They'll be exported as 'scrap', but many will end up back on the road in Lithuania.

HSE and the RTITB would use this as a training vid called 'how to get shut down or get someone killed', starting with the state of that forklift which, judging by the damage to the roll protection cage, shouldn't be in service. To be honest if I worked there I would report it myself, so many life threatening situations were in this video it's unreal

Have a look at Kev Tee's channel. He works for Charles Trent and although the cars are driven onto the transporter they're unloaded by forklift.

Is that car place called co part and if I'm not mistaken there is a pub called the reindeer round the corner just before you get on sandtoft industrial estate and there's a place called trolleybus museum near there aswell I don't live very far away from there know that place well been there before

Most will be repaired and can be reused quite safely.I brought my Skoda from there with just door damage,had it properly repaired and its as good as new.If you know what your looking for you can get some good bargains out of Copart.

you have a telescopic tape shaped like a L to get your Hight, all bridges marked under 16 foot

It's called a height stick and only bridges under 16 foot 6 inch are marked up, transporter height sticks don't go over 16 foot 6 inches.

If I’m correct that fork lift can lift 3 tonnes an average car weighs 1600 kgs upwards not as risky as it looks as long you get your forks in the correct position

@@PJAudits worked for a fork truck company years ago. Part of the chassis, is the hydraulic fluid tank, which had split. I tried over head welding. ( which I was asked ) with general welding rods. Which did not work, getting very pi!!ed off, I put the truck on its side, v'ed it, welded it, all done. Gaffer wondered wot the flip was going on. Good old days.

Sounds suspicious to me, those cars look in good condition, maybe you're recorded stolen cars heading to eastern Europe where thousands of stolen motorbikes and catalytic converters go, I hope the police check the legality of this transporter! 🧐

Many of the cars are in good condition because the insurers right them off for seemingly any reason and once they pay out they become the property of the insurer, they auction them off in different classes and many are bought up and shipped abroad, quite legitimately.

@@simshogun2240 I had my car written off just for some damage to the door they wrote it off and they let me keep the car for nothing and I repaired the damage, it's madness to write of newish cars when many parts can be replaced easily. 🧐🤔
