The Crazy Expensive Mezco One:12 Fantastic Four action figure set!

Hello all, and while we admittedly are putting are credibility as 'The Discount Action Figure Dude' on the line with this Mezco one:12 $420.00 Fantastic Four metal box set, I submit that nothing cements my mettle as the DAFD more than my ability to bring this thing to my front door.
It took some work, it took some finagling, and blood was lost... literally... but we did manage to add this to the collection. Mind you this is more of an overview of the set featuring a lot of yak... which some ICG complained about a few videos back, but what else am I gonna do if I'm not yakking? I think I will do an experimental video in the near future where I don't say anything and see how that goes.

And now that you've heard of Mezco, purge it from your brain. I can't think of a much quicker for someone to get separated from their cash by being a Mezco collector. That being said, I got some more to show you guys in the not too distant future.

Oh i definitely use my Mezco bags. They are great when you want fast access to your accessories without going into the tin can or box depending on the figure you got.

Totally agree on the MCU She-Hulk body mold. Everybody is saying that a F4 repaint of the upcoming classic Avengers She-Hulk is to be expected. But Ithey should use this one instead. It's more FF Byrne Shulkie.

LMAO. This was made for me. I literally put all those Diamond select in my cart, then took Torch out and said NOPE on the Thing after seeing multiple reviews about him. I want walmart Thing. $52 per figure is the premium price I want to pay.

The Marvel Selects are worth it my friend. Yes, The Thing is pretty much a statue, but Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman are bangers.

Find something you really want JC, put in your cart and save it for later. Most sites, especially Amazon will update the price when it changes, higher or lower. And when that something gets to a price you are good with, jump on it. Right now I got an Amazing Yamaguchi Daimajin, which is from an old Japanese monster movie, in my cart waiting for it come down in price.

Always a pleasure watching your videos Christopher, can't wait to see what you think about each figure by itself! Just got these guys recently and I feel like the clothes goods works really well for their retro kind of looks and ahh man all those stretchy poses for Reed, it's a lot of fun. Do you plan on getting Mezco Dr.Doom, if the price is right? Anyway, good day to you!

Thank you for the kind words @foofoojoj, and of course I'd get the Mezco Doom if the price was right, my absolute favorite villain of all time, for those that call him a villain, where I just see a visionary, but I don't think the price will ever get right with that one. I think we're going to just be rolling with my various Marvel Legends Dooms for the time being. 😊

I was about to say "How dare you Sir, charge yourself with being a discount buyer and then flaunt those expensive figures in our collective faces" 😂. Either way it wouldve been all good. You got a good deal on those figures i myself will be buying later. Nice video too. I like the look of Marvel Select but i dont like the scale size.

Thanks for the kind words as usual figures! The scaling is less of an issue if you're building a standalone team like the FF, but anything else you gotta work with it and fudge it through optical effects and clever placement if you want a Marvel Select to integrate with your Marvel Legends or whatnot. Or sometimes you get lucky, in that I use the Marvel Select Vision on my Avengers shelf who is actually slightly shorter than Marvel Legends Thor so he works pretty well.

Why does the box have the artwork upside down on the back? For $400+ is really ugly. Idk if they do it on purpose but they definitely shouldn't, it looks stupid.

Why you buy two teams of the same characters ? And i still say for the money marvel select is the best figs for fantastic four ever made . The only mezco that is better is the thing .

My man asks why I have two teams of the same characters. The same reason I have 15 Storms and 25 Batmen. I'm a plastic addict bruh! I need help! I thought we established this! They are all different though, but I'm not disagreeing with you on Marvel Select being the best FF out there, but I haven't had a chance to dig into the Mezco properly as of yet. I will report back.
