I’ve had so much fun watching this over the years, I wish I could meet Reb Brown and his wife Cisse. I can’t imagine what people were thinking when this was being filmed. Obviously, John Phillip Law was in on the joke.

Look, if you're an actor and you realize you're in a turkey, you have two choices: one, you can phone it in, collect your paycheck, and escape with your dignity; or two, you can go full ham and be the only thing enjoyable about the movie. I always appreciate those actors who go with option 2.

This was fantastic. I'm always fascinated by the stories behind movies like this, and I have a special affection for them. Frank Conniff (of MST3K fame) once said that no one will ever accuse Ed Wood of being a great director, but you have to admit he had heart, and he never gave up his dream. Stuff like that - or hell, just wanting to prove a point like with Manos: Hands of Fate - is admirable in a way. For now, I will gladly put my trust in Blast Hardcheese.

Up until recently, one of the Electric one man Buggies were parked in a lot close by. I dont know why I never asked to look at it closely. From what I saw was a Car Battery, a Electric Motor, and a Chain to drive the Axel. Only now, I know what it was used for, and its since disappeared.

As one of many that was first exposed to Space Mutiny through MST3K, I can't help but be fascinated with the makings of some of the movies featured on the show, if only to find out what the hell they were thinking with some of these. Cisse Cameron once actually claimed it was "meant to be a spoof of sci-fi films", but I don't buy that for a second. Either way, great video. I'd kinda like to see some more like these "Oddities and Obscurities" videos, especially if they involve movies featured on MST3K and RedLetterMedia and the like. A couple of years ago I actually contacted NBC (I think it was NBC) to try and find out. I was researching a book on Star Wars clones and it was crazy how often I came across the same shots. So, Universal will let me take any space scenes from the original Battlestar Galactica, but throw copyright at anybody so much as talk about the 1993 animated show Exosquad. Of course, NBC/Universal seems to have lightened up on that a little. Now it's anybody that shows any scene from Exosquad gets a free DMCA thrown at them.
