Gareth seems like such a dope director with massive visions. Giving away early screening passes to see 'The Creator' on Attack The Culture if you're in LA. Can't wait to see this in NYC.

Movie has a very low chance of becominf a big hit regardless of its quality, i mean its completely unknown, cast is not huge, ppl r not super interested, marketing is really stunted by strikes, its an original film not at all based on any source material or person/brand so unfortunately that stunts it too, director is not a huge name like the later director-movies coming out in October. Idk, it’ll take a miracle for this film to be a big hit, it’ll be more like Blade Runner 2049 in box office. However all we can hope for is that its a great movie, nothing says it cant be

The thing I hate about ScreenX is that with a screen on the left side and a screen on the right side, you’re going to be having a hard time paying attention to everything when you’re looking at three screens. To me, it’s pointless. This is why IMAX is considered the world’s most immersive movie experience.

i've been to a ScreenX, the middle screen is the same movie that'd you see elsewhere. The left and right are really there for your peripheral vision to enhance the immersion since our vision is so wide.

@@jackkolpitckeExactly! The film is shot and edited so that the main focus, and thus your eye, will be on the center screen. After the movie starts, your brain naturally absorbs the peripheral information, and it all just becomes one thing. It really is a fascinating experience, and I can't wait to try it again! 🤩

Replace those connecting edges with rounded curved panels to avoid that huge black edge blocking the 2 screens seamless viewing angle.

ScreenX puts so much light into the room that it takes you out of the movie and into a theatre room. Completely breaks the immersion for me.

I think a VR theater would be far more immersive. You sit in a chair that leans back and rotates 360 degrees as you hold a VR on your face and you watch a movie made with VR. Each time you watch your movie you notice something new.

Liked the movie but hated that they actually used a real accidental explosion as a “vfx” shot out of a horrible event. Not cool.

I just saw this movie this way tonight, and sorry I did. The movie was very good and I really enjoyed it, but in the theater I saw it in, I don't believe it was the correct KIND of theater. The walls on each side of the screen were perpendicular to the screen. It was like watching it in a room in your house. The side imagery did not make the movie more enjoyable, and actually detracted from enjoying the film. The walls on the side of the screen cannot be perpendicular to the screen for this type of projection to work. The walls need to be at an angle less than 90 degrees to the screen. If the side walls were at 45 degrees it might have been awesome. You can see here in this video that the theater is not a rectangular box. It is actually a radiused room (seat rows) and the side walls are at a lesser angle than 90 degrees. This is what I was hoping for, and nothing like what I got. This was at a Regal theater.

The SCREENX in POLAND WARSAW is a SCAM. It doesn't look at all like the promotional material (this video). I was furiously disappointed. I will never go to screenx again. I have no idea who in their right mind would approve it in the state it's currently in (POLAND WARSAW CINEMA CITY GALERIA MOKOTÓW).
