I live near Old Town Spring, and regularly visited the Wunsche Bros Cafe/Saloon. Until a "freak accident" burned the place down except the old home of the Wunsche Bros. Town people say it was the ghosts of the Brothers protecting their property. It is currently being renovated, but still the town has a creepy vibe especially at night.

Ark-Alex -zero I grew up near Old Town Spring. It was always rumored that the Wunsche Bros. Saloon was haunted, and yes it seemed like every so many years it had some kind of devastating fire!

@@johnmcdaid5082 You're also a lot younger than my relatives. To us younger people something like that wouldn't bother us very much to be honest. We're all a bit more numb to some things because of seeing so much online and in the news. I just commented on what was told to me and I know some older people can exaggerate things to make a point or to show fear. I would lean more towards believing you cause of your age and you being out in the public more. I thank you for letting me know that my grandparents have nothing to fear.

My family tend to be able to see spirits. After moving into a new town 8 years ago we always saw a few different in the house and around town while driving. We never say anything in fear of being called crazy. One day one 9f the locals shared the history of the town. Turns out there was a decent size massacre in the area. Crazy

You cant go blaming god for the actions of humans. Thats what most morons miss. Something bad happens and they go " god this" or "god allowed this to happened" first of all why aren't you blaming the actual person or thing responsible for it. I had someone tell me that it was god's fault that their grandma died of lung cancer. She smoked since she was a teen and got cancer cause of it. Her actions killed her. Just cause something bad happened doesnt mean god did it, people just doesnt want to take responsibility for their actions and use god as an excuse.

I live in Dryden, NY. We've had movies, TV shows and books written about the dark happenings in our town and we have been nicknamed the "Village of The Damned" it's weird seeing the memorials and monuments dedicated to all the victims who passed a few years before I was born. I've lived here my whole life and it really does feel like a dark energy hovers over my city.

It's not exactly a curse in the city itself, but in my city of Rosario in Santa Fe, Argentina, there's a yearly festival-like event called Colectividades, where a lot of countries can show their culture and you can go eat foods from different countries and watch shows, dances, etc. It's a yearly tradition that's been going on for more than 30 years (this years' was the 34th I think). But the festival it's cursed by gypsies that got really angry when they were denied a spot along other communities so they cursed the event and every year rains when Colectividades start. They even moved the date one year, and it still rained. If it doesn't rain the very same day it starts, it'll surely rain some of the days after (Colectividades usually lasts for a week). This year we had a terrible terrible storm, with whole cities/towns flooded and the festival had to close for like three days. It rained more than 100ml in only a night. I don't know if I truly believe in the curse, but it never fails to rain when Colectividades start, so who knows.

I live 50 miles north of Spring, TX and my family and I visit Old Town Spring several times a year to go find unique gifts for Christmas and birthdays. My children love the old shops and we used to eat fabulous burgers at Wunsche Bros before they closed. It's a beautiful town, I highly recommend visiting!!❤

The legend of Dargav probably came about because of a plague/disease passing through the region (which killed anyone who stayed there at the time)... Stuff like that becomes legends a lot.

I wish I could give you TEN Likes, Matt, because in #7 you used the correct tense of "phenomena" for plural! I'm constantly hearing people use "phenomenon" when they mean more than one or, worse yet: "phenomenons." And some even use both tenses indiscriminately in the same sentence...

In the town I'm staying in, Uitenhage, and the town next to us, Despatch (like 2kilometers appart) a few years ago, colectively had a car accident rate of about 90 accidents monthly. these towns are VERY small so this was a high number and people were dying from them often. churches in the area started praying for a week specifically against this as a spiritual attack. 2 months later the accident rate dropped by 45%. then down to only about 4 accidents monthly, but with almost no injuries.

Accident, fell asleep at the wheel, someone forced them off the road at a bad time.... There is a plethora of ways it could happen

Someone else who lives from that area said the driver was 3 times over the legal drinking limit and parked on a slip way. The people from Buncrana were very vocal and upset in the comments that their town was listed...
