I got the crew 2 a few months ago and then I sucked. Yesterday I came back and won the Keys to the city race and first thing I did was this race 5 Times to get some cash cuz I want the Divo. And then it was really helpful with these shortcuts.

This is the best course in the game. I was flabbergasted by the visuals, using a PS5, after having bought the game discounted instead of buying NFS unbound which got a lot of bad reviews. First attempt before I found this, so without cutting corners I ended up second (with no pauzing and being a little bit tired, and using the Koenigsegg Agera R). Your guide saves a lot of time. I managed to do all of the shortcuts except for the big valley jump. Just after the 81% checkpoint (after jumping over the hill) it was not easy to find the way to the next checkpoint downhill in the valley. So instead, just after the 81% checkpoint, go left as in this video. Then you can just jump over the road and you get onto the rocky road and continue jumping to the checkpoint. He missed a lot of important shortcuts, including the one after the 37% checkpoint, but his solution to 81% / 82% is elegant. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/edNggLqh2LO8k4U.html

The cut at 17% still works if you can keep enough momentum to get air on the first little hill and boost yourself up to top speed and then you the new off-road physics to help you slow down for the corner, but it’s not as constant as just turning and staying on the road.

Go left instead of right at 40 percent ant there will be a bump that u can use to get to the highway without having to drive backwards

At 13% after the houses take a sharp left and there are like 2 bumps so with air nitro u can pass through that keep a speed of 200+ mph also at 17% he says dont cross the field I suggest u do cuz if u got to the right of the electric tower in the middle of the field u can come back in to a jump right before the next checkpoint which gives u a ton of speed with air nitro

This was such a useful video. The best shortcut I learned of was the shortcut at 37% I never knew that was a road up there that you could follow. This will help aton for my grind to getting the Bugatti Divo, Koenigsegg Jesko and the Bugatti chiron. And I need some cars for the other types of races, like alpha grand prix.

First off, great video, and thanks for sharing and including your advice. For anyone trying these, you should time yourself with and without the shortcut. I found some of them to be slower for me. For example, the big shortcut that starts at 36% (at 5:40 - up hill to dirt road to offroad to paved road to overpass) was five seconds slower for me than just taking the normal route. I tried it several times, no collisions and good boosting, but it just wasn't faster for me. Even taking the left path at the end is slower. Anyway, test them out for yourself to see if they improve your times. Just make sure you practice enough to get the best possible time on the shortcut. If they cut time from your run, great, but if they don't, stick with what you've been doing.

Did not know there were these many shortcuts but at the beginning on the turn before the exit I cross onto the opposing side to take the wrong side exit (on the highway the race starts on)

at 4:55 you usually have a lot of speed so for fun i like to go straight and jump over the river to go straight to the checkpoint. You do cross a lot of grass and im not sure if you save time but its pretty fun.

My 1st time watching your channel, really good very informative video, I like it a lot! I am really new to all of this, came from GTA where cars are easy to drive and not much tune up required. I will set all of my points on Popular so that I can get to level 600. Which I think will allow me to max out all of the 25 point categories and then my nitro will last a really long time, cause right now when I race other players they pass me by like I'm standing still, lol.I like The Crew 2, but it would be so much better if you had the choice to either purchase the exact Loot or parts that u need for your car or if the game would actually give you the last part that you are needing instead of giving you the loot that you already have! And when you purchased a car, it should come already tuned up, just like when you purchase a real Lamborghini at the dealership. When you drive it off the lot, the only thing that u have to worry about is adjusting your seat and mirrors, :) If the cars came like that, u would only need to fine tune the steering to your liking, such as oversteer or understeer. I have never driven a Lamborghini off the lot and had it slide around at even low or high speeds like it does in this game, so there is a lot of room for improvement by the makers of TC2! Oh, one more thing, have you tried playing Wreckfest? That game is a riot! Thanks again for the video and the tuning on the Bugatti, if I ever get to ICON 1000 :)

Nice video that helps a lot but the problem with the Yosemite shortcut. I keep doing it but I either get stuck or I hit the ground too hard and get respawned back on top

With the current summit, i compared the time i spent between the point at 37% and the next checkpoint by taking the normal road and the time that Akor spent using this SUPER shortcut. Actually, I was like 1s faster. So i'm not really convinced by this shortcut

Just a few things - grinding the rails is never faster than doing the turn properly and cutting corners off road doesn't work on fast roads because you lose more time by losing your speed than you gain by cutting the corner. Other than that it's a great tutorial. I love that you don't rely on those cheap restarts which should not be in the game imo.

Thanks for this tutorial man!You do it perfect,but I can't do it the same way, it's mission impossible.My first try was a total disaster - I followed all the shortcuts,but I was slow all the time and had many problems,so my time was around 32 minutes.To be honest,I prefer to complete the whole race for around 29 minutes every time,than doing all this crazy things.

They patch what are glitches but leave records untouched. Who can NOW get a 24 minute time on NY HYPERCAR? The 9% cut should be "pass on the right of the centre pillar, hit the right side of it which bounces you into the twig tree and onto the road ahead 😀

Finally short cuts to from New York to Cali I been waiting cuz it takes me 33 min to do that and did u set the world record

My first attempt I had to pause and check for the percentage where shortcuts are, and that attempt I actually failed cause the giant cliff jump at the end I failed 3 times and lost the lead. The second race I pretty much nailed every shortcut, but hit a lot of cars and barriers. Got a 31 minute PB. 660k an hour 😁
