Loved this! I've been trying to do it, made it to 23 rows but it kept creating this diagonal line when i join and start another row. Any idea why? I'm starting again! Thanks anyway :))

Yes!... I want to know at this part as well.. If I do 34 chains then 2sc at the 2nd chains from the hook then there will be 31 chains to go till the end of the first line...

Hello, can you tell me what "hard cotton" means? Is it 100% cotton? The yarn you are using looks great, but I am searching in America and can't find a suitable yarn. The yarn I purchased is a 2mm 4 ply 100% cotton, but it appears much thicker and unravels while using. My bag has a thick yarn look to it, instead of what yours looks like. Thank you for your help.

thank you for this. Even though you keep saying the shape is a rectangle. The solid shape in middle is a triangle. you also aren't clear about the directions. you start to skip in the main portion of th bag and the camera needs to show more clear close up shots. Not a bad video, just not an EXACT or pristine video. In crochet it matters how exact your directions are.

I’ve started your pattern, but realize that you are giving wrong number of foundation chain. You say 34, it’s written 34, and then you say that it’s 33… now my bag look awful and I have to untangle it... too bad

Maybe cuz she meant 33 plus the extra chain to get you started on the next row?
