The last appearance of Margaret made me tear up! In my opinion, one of the best scenes of the entire series!

The final episode made me cry. I am going to miss the Crown

Honestly, the only episodes I liked were the one when Princess Margaret died (I actually cried there), and the final episode. The rest... neh. And it is a shame, since Imelda Staunton and Elizabeth Debicki did OUTSTANDING performances, but they were given bad scripts to work with.

The Ritz episode made me weep thinking about how the Queen was finally reunited with her family.

The Will/ Catherine/ Harry storyline was a bore. The producers really did a hate job on Harry with zero empathy. Bad, biased writing

The best production has ever been made to date. Each actor portrayed as if he/she was the real one. Salute for the actresses who played princess Diana & the Queen. Thank you for having accompanied people around the world for the past 6 years. We are going to miss these series dearly.❤

I feel like since s4 the crown has been less a retelling of historical events, and more a soap opera about characters

William/Harry: We see what happens when you spoil children not just up to age 13 but all their life. William/Catherine: not a big deal, didn't really care. Carol: I find this true on the surface and nothing different than what the Queen Mother and Dicky did earlier. I loved the talks with the other queens needed more, they could have cut out the wedding of Charles and Camilla to give me more Queen chat, as with the other season Camilla was too much in everyones face.. hmm PR hasn't changed. I did love the side eye Anne gave at the wedding when the photog (on purpose if it was true) called Camilla Your Majesty I wasn't upset with the Queen mother died, she was 101 years old, and I always found her even IRL a spotlight stealer, but Margaret had me in tears from the first scene, and when she was at the gate with the Princess Elizabeth that was it perfect ending. I just didn't think Imelda did a good job with the Queen, she never seemed to have her voice down, she seemed too Queenly all the time, no behind the curtains views as with the others, She did look the part so there is that. This is in no way reflects on her as an actress, I loved her in Downton Abbey I just don't think she tried or didn't want to try very hard at it. I wish there were more Prince Phillip and his view on things, his sections were too short. I will miss this show and hope that the creators will make Audible companion books for the rest of the series! Lastly, NO! I do not want to see anything else about this... there are those rumors. Please don't let them do it.

The last episode was the perfect bookend to the Hyde Park Corner episode

Both Prince William and Prince Harry have said nothing but loving words for their grandmother the former Queen. Harry and Elizabeth seemed to have been closer than William and Elizabeth because Harry could joke with his Grandmother, William never did.

I felt the best episode of season 6 by far was the Princess Margaret episode. The heartbreaking slow decline of such a vibrant person contrasted with a lively night from her youth, a look at the relationship between the sisters, and a chance to see a different side of the Queen. And the ending was an emotional gut punch, seeing the two sisters in their youth walking back to the Palace before switching back to an older Margaret as she says goodbye to the Queen, then ending with Margaret’s duet with her father from the beginning of season one as her fate is revealed and the credits play.

Claire Foy was by far by favorite Queen and Seasons 1 & 2 are also my favorites. Season 5 Episode 3 - Mou Mou was my favorite of all of the episodes of Season 5. Season 6 and the Diana episodes were the best. Honorable mention is Episode 10. After Claire Foy left, I was only mildly interest in The Crown. With all of the make-up artistry and aging programs in Hollywood, changing the cast was beyond ridiculous. None of those actors/actresses looked anything alike. Just because you become older, doesn't mean you don't still resemble yourself and become taller and shorter as you age. Outside of Claire Foy, Elizabeth Debick was the only other one who resembled who she was playing. The actor playing Prince Harry was bizarre. The casting was beyond dumb and irritating. Then it was the long stretches between seasons. The Crown could have been over years ago.

In my opinion, the creators could have done some text during the walking out of the chapel to summarize Queen Elizabeth’s reign as Monarch. However, I am sure this is unnecessary for the target audience.

Season 6 spent way too much time on the Diana storyline as well as William and Kate’s. The season seemed rushed. Especially the last 4 episodes. The Queen’s storyline should have been expanded considering it’s the last season.

All three women did amazing jobs, though i feel that Imelda was shortchanged and got too little screentime in comparison. The diana focus was good in and of itself, but it came to subtract from "the crown" itself. I wish they'd had considered adding a couple episodes to each of Imelda's seasons to explore her (the Queen) more.

The Crown began so strongly and viewers could not wait for each episode. It is when Diana entered the picture that this series began to go downhill. I could not relate to the actress who played Diana. Her constant chin down and eyes looking up was just so fake, to me. And her trying to talk like Diana - it just did not work. I feel so very sorry for William. He is left with a sordid , undignified legacy to maybe, or maybe not overcome. I could try to feel sorry for the Queen over this, but the fact remains the she made the bed they are all lying in. All she wanted was to be Queen with no time set to disciple her kids or to have someone else do so. And now Harry. There are no words. He is as ruthless as his great grandmother, the Queen mother. At any rate, the series declined and there has never been a worse ending. It seemed like the writers were just hurrying through to get it over. So incredibly disappointing!! ( In fairness to the actress playing Diana - I think her directing was more at fault)

Great series…they rushed the last 4 episodes in season 6 and I was disappointed. They could have easily had two more seasons.

Imelda Staunton is my fav. Elizabeth II…maybe because her character is a contemporary compared to colman and Foy.
