The CSF Evo X: Global Time Attack at the 2021 Long Beach Grand Prix

Back in 2012, an Evo X crashed at the Long Beach Grand Prix during the Pirelli World Challenge - this ended up being the rolling shell that CSF purchased back in 2016.
This was the start of the #CSFevoX
After about 4 years of development, the CSF Evo X made its way the Global Time Attack Finals in November of 2019. Unfortunately, on that day, the car suffered an engine fire. After about four months of it sitting, we decided to continue in full force to make the car even better than before.
A fully refreshed and rebuilt V3.0 took on the Global Time Attack Finals in November 2020 - and now, 10 years after its crash at the Long Beach Grand Prix, it has made its way to the iconic Streets of Long Beach.
With a few months of fine tuning since the GTA Finals, CSF was lucky enough to participate in the Global Time Attack class at the Acura Long Beach Grand Prix in September 2021. The team worked hard to overcome a plauging power steering issue, but still managed to compete thanks to the amazing driving of Randy Pobst, who flew across the country to drive the Evo X for the first time.
What an amazing experience - now time to get back to work before the next GTA event!

Former Evo IX owner, it’s an amazing car for what it is. Also, goes to prove that the MOST important aspect of a “race/track” car is the ability to finish. Usually it’s overheating.

Awesome job CSF! Sucks about the gremlins but #Racelife right? Also shout out to Randy Pobst, probably the most personable driver!

Cool footage but hood exit exhaust and long runner sidewinder manifold? Seems like they’d want a less laggy more efficient turbo setup but whatever. Should just mimic Ryan Gates build no need to reinvent the wheel
