The main benefit of the cube is that you can fold it up and store it in the garage. Once inside it will probably stay there.

Looking at the additional height when closed I don't think it will go through the opening into my garage.

Well Im a full timer in a truck camper and I wouldn't touch that thing with a ten foot pole. Price ridiculous. Anyone who camps regularly knows that once you open that thing up, you will be fighting the bugs that got in all night long. Way better choices for 43k. The music playing and the dude driving at the end of the video tells me all i need to know.

Very nice concept, but two problems at least for me : the price, far too expensive, and the interior, probably as cosy as an hospital room.

I thought I would really like to have this. It would be great for some of the camping I do by myself or with my 2 dogs. But then I seen $43,500. Thats $3,500 more than I paid for my brand new 30 ft. Forest River travel trailer w/a slide out. I thought it would start at more like $20,000. That would at least get me to go look, but $43,000? Nope, I'll pass!!

Is it just for the Tacoma or can it be used with other midsized trucks? 1200 lbs is at limit of my truck's cargo carrying capacity. It needs to go on a diet. It would be nice to carry things like food, clothing, chairs, and such without having to have an additional trailer to put it all in.

If 1200 lbs is at your limit then the tongue weight of a trailer will put you over your limit.

@@davidleadford6511 , you can edit your posts. So, you would be 280 lbs over your cargo capacity if you had this camper and towed the trailer, plus you would be even more over if you carry passengers. The reality is that most campers require a larger capacity truck than both manufacturers and salespeople will tell you. I haven’t found a 1/2 ton truck camper that doesn’t exceed my truck’s payload.
