i remember a classmate of mine who was a jehovah's witness. she wasn't really the social type, so one day our teacher told us the next day would have been her birthday and we all organized a surprise party for her. we brought cake, some gifts, decorations and games. the next day her mom brought her to class and we all jumped out to surprise her. her mom got furious and brought her back home, and we later discovered JW aren't even allowed to celebrate birthdays. we never saw her again, apparently her mom decided to homeschool her since and didn't even let her out of the house because she thought the party was her daughter idea and never believed us when we told her it wasn't her daughter fault and she didn't even believe our teacher about it. to this day i have no idea where she ended up but i hope she got out of that shitty cult, poor kid was miserable.

I had a JW friend in middle school too, I never understood why she never celebrated her birthday or any other holidays. She ended up being homeschooled halfway through 8th grade year, and all her social media was gone. Even 10+ years later, I haven't been able to find anything searching her name up. I hope she's okay.

Jeez, having a Jehova’s Witness friend at school back in the day must be a lot more common than I thought. I knew a girl from grade 6 or 7 onwards, she was in my class towards the end of primary school, and 1 or t 2 of my classes in my last 2 years of high school. Her and I weren’t friends but she was friends with multiple people in my group so we knew each other pretty well, even talked in class sometimes because of how long we’d known each other. She was definitely different to us all in some ways though, her and her brother were, innocent in a way, obviously sheltered to an extreme and unhealthy degree. Never permitted to be fully exposed to life’s brutality so as to be properly aware of it and therefore genuinely capable of recognising and combatting it. They were utterly clueless in ways almost nobody else would be, that’s the nature of indoctrination, to become indoctrinated is to become a willing fool, to purposely use your brain less, to become willingly disabled. The tragic thing about it though, is that children cannot make such choices, evil or stupid adults, or evil AND stupid adults, have to make it for them, and those adults are often their scumbag parents. I haven’t seen that girl since shortly after high school, what happened to her is anybody’s guess, it’s no surprise she doesn’t have a FaceBook or Instagram account so finding out what became of her is extremely difficult if even possible.

Tbh my whole family is Christian from both sides. I agree with evil is bad. But tbh I still give into a sorta religious belief but I don’t enforce them onto my life nor others, I say to myself if I keep a good relationship as a friend to the man upstairs I am well. If he heard any bad I said he knew I wouldn’t mean it and that I mean well in life. I am not 100% religious but I try to keep an open eye to others and their beliefs with God as a wingman by my side in a sort of way. I love all and everything. Another things is that I LOVE to have a scientific views of life also, like humans being monkeys long ago, I question how life became and how the whole Adam and Eve thing came to be (but that’s up to me and my understanding of the Christian religion) My message to people is just to not spread hatred regardless of who they are or what they do. Let the higher entity deal with them in life. May all you guys prosper and receive a blessed fortune :) ❤️
