I was there on that day and back in the day adored the Cult. Looking back now almost 30 years later they look a bit hilarious here to be honest in their woodcutter shirts trying to be in fashion with the upcoming grunge scene. Their style of music was being overtaken that day by an incredible Peal Jam and Soundgarden, Ian tried hard with all his fucks, at least Duffy saved the day and to be honest the long version of Sun King still kicks ass!

Those shirts are " flannels ". they were and are still changing stage fashion. All bands do. Ian has always been expletive preachy on stage. The " rams head " release was a pinnacle piece. Excellent unique with personal lyrics. No rock cliches about fire women or love removal machines. Ian and all are superb here, focusing on the music.
