From Chinese perspective:
1. UK Culture is very open-minded.

From a British perspective:

Interesting video, thank you. We have a mixed family and here are some cultural differences I’ve learned: usually city homes in China have very nice accommodation and poor people live in the country in more rustic homes. In England it’s generally the opposite: cities often accommodate poorer housing (unless you’re super super super rich), whereas in the countryside there can be very nice homes. Food habits are also different. Chinese food contains many more ingredients, especially varied vegetables but dishes are nearly always flavoured similarly with soy sauce, chilli etc. Also families eat meals together with a variety of dishes that they share. It’s also common to hunch over your bowl and sip and slurp while eating, then finish your soup by drinking from the bowl. Generally I n England each person has their food served on a separate plate and table manners are more formal, sit up straight, slurping or talking with your mouth full is considered very bad manners. My family is learning that cultural differences are interesting and we can find common ground and respect for differences.
