So touching. The emotions of all the memories, the saying goodbye to a life and the people who used to be in it, taking the time to embrace it while movers are coming, just beautifully done. 😢❤ thank you. A gem.

This is positively lovely and moving. I completly understand the need for a cupboard/closet. You can cry, be alone and talk with your dead loved ones. This brings back memories - supporting Mom thru her fight with brain cancer 😢, my getting married and moving away from EVERYTHING, my husband having emergency surgury and needing 12+ years to completely return to normal life and adjusting to my own chronic illnesses. 😢 You have a gift. Please share more of your talent. ❤❤❤❤

I can only imagine. I’ve been apart from my family for around forty years, so my feelings are definitely different. I hope that you and your son have a wonderful relationship.

@@jeremypearson6852 thank you so much. My husband RB died suddenly in March 2012 and my daughter Rina in April 2022. It's been rough times for my son Christian and me, but we are reestablishing the closeness we had before 2012 came and all the rest. I'm sorry you've been apart from your family for so long. I hope and pray your broken heart is on the journey to better days. It's all going to work out the way it's meant to. God bless you and thank you again.

Well done Sophie. Keep writing. I love plays. I've written one for radio about same length as your. Not performed yet though. Also some very short sketches. Your says so much in a very few minutes. Thanks

What a beautiful and poignant play. And a happy ending with the redemption of Martin. A kind soul beating in a rather brash exterior.

Your story absuloutly knocks the nail on the head, showing how or ways, some people cope. When Martin gets in the closet and says "Quite big in here........" Perfect! Thank you.

This is incredibly poignant and I’m sure moving for many people. Growing old does come with its own challenges and the loss of a spouse is significant. An expat in Florida.

Beautiful, thank you. I need some help here if anyone can please. About 4 years ago I listened to a radio play about a man who went missing through a hole in the wall, I think it was his shop. His wife hires people to go in there to find him. Does anyone recognise this?
