I'm in the US and enraged Cupras are not sold here, VW designers are bottom tier compared to Cupra designers, it's not even close.

Seat on yleensä ollut se, jossa on Orthex:lta alihankintana ostetttu sisusta (halvinta ämpäri muovia), mutta nyt se onnistuttiin asentamaan aluksi id3:en jonka piti aloittaa volkkarilla uusi aikakausi ja saada ihmiset innostumaan sähköautoista. No kupla siitä tulikin, muttei toivottu. Sen jälkeen on hieman koitettu hioa pahimpia valupurseita pois sisustasta, sekä viilaamaan ulkopuolta ja sisustaa takaisin sellaiseksi mitä volkkarin on odotettu olevan, mutta kun tuote on pökäle niin sitä ei saa kiiltämään vaikka kuinka kiillottaisi. Tässä seatissa/cuprassa taas vain koitetaan houkutella tietynlaisia muka tyylitietoisia ostajia ostaan rahoituksella moinen sekasikiö. ID2 on sellainen joka tuo edes hieman valoa tunnelin päähän, toki jos siinäkin kuiten pidetään itsepintaisesti kiinni haptisista ratin painikkeista, niin eipä tarvi sitäkään kaavailla edes kohdallani koeistuttavan....

The most important thing is: With today's modern materials, you have nothing to lose, just to gain. You achieve the same kind of luxury and comfort or even better while having the same or better durability with less impact on humans, animals and the environment. You can use fabric/cloth, microfibre or leatherette. They can be made from recyclables (e.g. from PET-bottles or old fishing nets) or even from plant-based materials (like Pinatex from pineapple leaves or Desertex from cactus fibre or the mixed-plant-based Mirum). Or the Polestar 3 e.g. is using pine oil. And even if you still create a leatherette seat the classic way with petroleum base without a recycling share, the amount of oil being used for that is very little in comparison to how much oil is used for other car parts or how much oil is burned for fuel or heating. We cannot change what we have bought in the past, but with more information and compassion we can change how we decide in the future.

They're gaudy to me. But I wouldn't mind as long as owners can switch them off. Otherwise, I'd just disconnect it, if I really liked the car otherwise.

ID7 "somewhat succeeded"? Honestly, it's one of the fugliest cars on the market, total failure. But I guess it's with a sense of design as it is with musicality. Some people just don't have it. :-)

Thinking scientifically is not what sells. Companies are in the practice of supplying demand. People want SUVs so thats what they give. All other things are secondary.

That interior center console looks like it was designed by the Battlestar Galactica Cylons. A bit too extreme in my opinion even for futurist lovers....
