Give me your eyes That I might see the blind man kissing my hands The sun is humming My head turns to dust as he plays on his knees As he plays on his knees And the sand And the sea grows I close my eyes Move slowly through drowning waves Going away on a strange day And I laugh as I drift in the wind Blind Dancing on a beach of stone Cherish the faces as they wait for the end Sudden hush across the water And we're here again And the sand And the sea grows I close my eyes Move slowly through drowning waves Going away On a strange day My head falls back And the walls crash down And the sky And the impossible Explode Held for one moment I remember a song An impression of sound Then everything is gone Forever A strange day

What I love about this recording is it feels as if you're living the feeling/aesthetic of the Pornography album. I've always said that the album feels like you're extremely drunk or "something" at a house party, to the point where things are blurring and there's a visual sort of lagging between movements. Beautiful song and magnificent design of the recording. One major band I listened to back when I was a teenager and even up to now.

This band is more than a reflection of an era. It is a phantom asteroid who returns to set his sights on sound art. At first this version sounded strange to me - Boris' drum accents were obviously missing with Jason's laid back drumming style. However, after Simon stepped in to fill the void with an emphasized bass line, the end result produced here turned out to be as good as the original version. Thanks Simon for adding a new twist to Strange Day decades after the song was created -another brilliant example of how necessity can be the mother of invention.
