Let's give a little love to the endurance of drummer Jason Cooper. The Cure were constantly playing 2 hour plus long shows on massive tours (before Covid). Their music is very busy for drummers and you cant be a slouch behind the drum set.

Aye, I always have a thought for the drummer during these long sets. But, guitarists and bass guitarists do also suffer in their arms and fingers 🙄 hard job

Boris was a powerhouse and did long sets too. Some of Jason's interpretations are terrible, 'Give Me It" sounds absolutely hideous and Andy Anderson will be rolling in his grave.

Cure's music needs a robotic drummer and a swinging guitarist. Here we have a robotic guitarist and a swinging drummer. It cannot sound like the cure.

30 years ago I looked like Robert and stood in the front row, holding a camera. He asked me: "Should I laugh before you make a photo of me ?" ... and went down on his knees while singing Magic moment in Frankfurt 💖 I'll always love him 🤗💋

I have to admit...one of the best bands ever. Jason is the glue that holds this band together , phenomenal. I don't know how he just keeps going. His arms must feel like they're ready to fall off after a concert like this. The rest of the band are also great musicians. Kudos to all!!!

To me, The Cure is such an underrated band. I love 'em. They just quietly made their music and did their thing. Great material, great sound and great vision. Smith's voice is so distinctive. Just a great band. Utmost respect.

That's a fucking two hour plus set, complete top quality from song to song, with honestly good playing, singing, and top-tier performance. I DEFY newer acts to achieve this level of skill and quality for two hours without falling apart at the seams.

I was at a 4+ hour 50 song The Cure show back in 2014 in México City, it was Robert's Birthday and we even had an earthquake half an hour prior to the guys hitting the stage

Wow! I was half listening to this show while cleaning my room and Hot, Hot, Hot, came on and I turned. This is the perfect song for Reeves. I love Reeves and his work before The Cure, but I never loved his work with them. But this song seems to fit his style perfect.

They’ve stayed mates of music for over 40 years. They are very entertaining even now. I found an early 79 concert and Mr Robert had short hair and no make up! More lovers than haters for this band.

Burn introduced me to this band, I'd heard their music before but nothing drew me in like that... and to think they hadn't played it live until 2013 is tragic... and the bookends to that song being what they were... what a perfect live intro.

I'm stunned! Incredible to watch this whole concert in one go. I'm gasping for air after Give Me It. And then, of course, he's dressed all Voodoo looking like a mad Jack Sparrow or Papa Legba. And Reeves Gabrel on that guitar on Give Me It...you can sure see why he was with David Bowie for so many years. Insane! The way the set list that Robert chooses completely keeps the audience on the edge.

A diferencia de muchos otros artistas, The Cure siempre hace un show que deje feliz a la gente... Aquí en Bogotá, donde la mayoría de los artistas hacen shows mediocres y totalmente rutinarios como por cumplir....Estos genios dieron un show de casi 3 horas con lluvia, mucho frío, apatía y aun así, dieron lo mejor... Uno de los mejores conciertos dados en Bogotá¡¡¡¡¡

Totally Awesome! Can't believe they actually threw in Stop Dead ! It hardly ever gets played. Wish they would have played Prayers For Rain, but would definitely watch again. I Will Love The Cure & Robert Forever.❤❤❤❤❤❤

I was in town for work and went to this concert, the first time I had seen them since the Wish tour. I had to leave right in the middle for work reasons.....I still haven't gotten over it.

I was personally at this show and to say it was truly heaven on earth, would be exactly what it felt like! Heaven. Seriously was asking folks if we were in heaven...but, that's another story for antother time!Absolutely LOVE that this was uploaded on my birthday. Honestly, the absolute best bday present ever. The thumbdowners need to go somewhere else tho lol
