People see a streamer using something they don't think of it as "the streamer has 1000000 hours in this game, he/she is just excellent at the game", they see "this gun is broken and I have to abuse the cheese as much as possible" because to them it's the gun/ammo and not the operator. Now when you talk about house hold names, like Lvnd, Verit and Pest, who melt everything they see it amplifies the effect. Homie dumped a 20 rnd of buck with a sega in factory the other day, missed every shot :P.

It was also my first map, after playing a lot of factory a few years ago, when tarkov was even less polished than now. People say customs is a beginner map, but it must be due to the low level quests there, because the layout is far from easy. It is an awesome, awesome map, but it is just very hard to play around. Lots of open spaces, bottlenecks and hiding points, very contested loot spots. The foliage and woody areas are a pain, but man, what a blast to play once you get the hang of it. It's the best map imo.

Mobbingsocke I completely agree about it being the best map but ever since I started playing earlier this year I always felt it was the easiest to PVP on

@@ProdBugs I am curious what you mean by "easy". Care to elaborate? If you mean player number vs map size, pacing of the map, spawns etc., I agree. It is just very polished in those (these?) regards. That doesn't make PVP easy though. If you mean "killing people", I think it is pretty hard, as the map relies heavily on movement, positioning and momentum. I always lose a lot of the money I made on other maps to customs because I feel PVP is so unforgiving there. I find woods the easiest map to kill people, tbh. Still loving customs. It's my baby. Expensive and frustrating sometimes, but the love goes deeper than that. :D

Mobbingsocke I guess I take it back that it’s easy but more or less I find myself most comfortable engaging in PVP, I guess it’s the map I’ve played on the most so I’ve gotten into a lot of situations and firefights in all areas of the map, and movement on customs compared to other seems easier to do, counter, and predict where players will be as well as at what time. I can agree that it can be tricky tho when getting into fights off spawn on big red side

Mobbingsocke pacing of the map like you said is very good in regards to contesting 3 story dorms or crackhouse/reshala’s lair (extract) and I can play it any which way now after the expansion whether I want to go for a loot/med run and hit the expansion or whether I want to go chadded up into 3 story dorms

brett canted site with angled grip causes the players arms to black most shots to the chest and face so it’s harder to kill them when they’re aiming down site. The way the gun is held is unrealistic and just blocks things. It’s stupid

the cobra sight has a -1% recoil bonus so he was using the canted with a cobra on a meta m4 to get the lowest recoil its very very tryhard.

No he was using a canted sight with the slanted grip to make his arms cover his chest hit box it’s an exploit he talked about on his stream yesterday that mainly high level players knew about

That guy was using the Jail Break muzzle break which allows you to then add another muzzle break. That gun just with the Jail Break the Daniel Defense break and then the suppressor had -28% recoil - Jail break -7%, DDMB - also -7% and the DDS also -7%. With that combination you get the lowest recoil M4 possible along with the flip up sights, Cobra and canted Aim Point, HK E1 Stock and Ergo grip giving you ridiculous ergo the only thing that would have made that build better (or more toxic) would be the Shift fore grip with -2% Recoil and +11% ergo or the Hera Arms CQR grip with -4% recoil and +11% Ergo instead of the Zenit RK-1 B25-U.

Game has a lot of audio issues regarding above or below audio but play the game long enough you’d start noticing very subtle things

No. He talked about it yesterday on stream. The canted sight with that angled foregrip contorts the player model so that the arms block most chestshots and some headshots. IRL no on would hold a gun the way the player model holds that gun

Both of these guys are wrong, the problem tony is talking about with the m4 is he's using the canted rk1 grip with a canted sight, this makes it so your character holds the gun with his arms in front of the chest, blocking hits

It makes the recoil absolute meta, the ergo insane, and it also kinda breaks the hitbox to where your arms tank their shots. and he glitched a scope inside of his container; so it's technically on his gun but can't be looted. tl;dr: people are shitty and do shitty things (oh wow, that's new!) but it's still the devs fault for allowing it in their game.

At the end of that raid he is talking about a secure cantainer bug. There is a bug going around where you can have a thermal on your gun, but glitch it into your secure container so that it can't be looted. I think that is what he is talking about. Or it could be how overly modded and lame looking the gun is.

@@crafty2145 The guy's using as much of the best attachments as he can while adding a canted sight AND a Kobra EKP-18. The Kobra takes -1% recoil, but ADSing with a canted sight is automatically super fast, regardless of the gun's ergo stat. It's an exploit, and the guy who made that M4 is pathetic.

Apparently, using a canted sight on an M4 with that kind of angled foregrip, causes the player model to contort their arms in such a way as to block a bit more of the chest from the front (in a way that is totally unrealistic; you can't really hold a gun that way). I assume BSG is working on it to remove that issue from the game, but since it requires a 3rd person model animation change, it hasn't already been implemented yet (but it probably will be). It's a dick move because it's basically an exploit that provides a very minor advantage that can only be gained with certain guns.

@@lazarus6125 The cant sight with angled grip used to force your characters arm hitboxes in front of your thorax. Arm penetration has been fixed since, but hand/wrist hitboxes used to make bullets dissapear, so running canted sight with angled grip was basically tier 7 armor.
