The Cut gets rough just ike Haulover Inlet!

We entered the cut at Cave Cay and the conditions were very rough just like at haulover inlet in florida with the outgoing tide and incoming swell. The boat got a little airborn!
The bahamas has some of the best beaches in the world! the beautiful turquiose water and white sugar sand beach just cant be beat and my crew loves to put on some bikinis and enjoy them!

Great video this week. This whole series is perfection. This is among the best sailing channels on youtube, and as video cameraman and editor for the last forty years, I know what is great. Bobby you are outstanding at telling your stories, and that's good because you won't make it ar a pro diver.😂😅😂 Just kidding, you just have to remember to commit to a dive or a jump. That is one capable craft. I was in something similar off the coast of California near Oxnard in a 45' power, not so much fun especially heading at a 45-degree angle into it. Steph, keep up the classes and I actually loved statistics, will be useful going forward.

If you've ever 'stuffed' the bow in an inlet (I have) or picked up a beach towel in your prop. on the way in. (I have) or seen a front cabin window blow out 50 yard to starboard in a 'wind against tide' situation. (I have), then you'll have a healthy respect for inlets and avoid the wrong tides. Generally speaking (old salt here) if you can get outside on an outgoing tide, then barring a weather change, you should be able to get back in on an incoming tide as the wind is then generally 'with the tide'. Nice job Skipper! ⚓

Hey Bobby and Steph! Love the channel. You guys should consider going to Okinawa! I spent 9 years there. It is one beautiful place with great food and culture. It's much different than mainland Japan. The Diving and Snorkeling are amazing with most reefs that can be reached by shore. This could make it challenging to find a place to dock, but it has reefs that rival the Caribbean in color.

Oh, I do not know. The “dive” was the funniest part. I would give it a 7. I appreciate that Bobby can laugh at himself and show a side of him that is less than stellar. Most of the time he is solid and in control.
