Not sure if you've already tried but do you think a no-relic run would ever be possible?

I know jrm1ah has gotten the "Who needs relics?" achievement (for winning the game with only 1 relic), there's a video of it on KZfaq, but that was in early access, before the heart was implemented into the game, so it could be fun to go for it with the heart. Or perhaps, do it once each with all 4 characters. Or try for it on a higher ascension level. I'd watch that.

Next time get d4 of each card and curse added to the deck in addition to the relics and after each act get d4 random blights :P (Maybe also remove d4 cards from your deck with each removal) or just go one dice size higher :D (d6,d8,d10,d12,d20) [d100 :P]
