That was real nice too. We flew into Portland once and drove to southern Oregon to visit my son. Never AGAIN! They have an airport right in Medford, so we fly into there. Wasted half a day driving when we could have been visiting the kids! I didn't pay attention to the scenery, our driver was going too fast! LOL

Lost my first comment. I have crossed the Columbia closer to it's origin at Canal Flats in British Columbia. It comes from springs which empty into the lake.

You could start a great on the road business by contacting all the Chamber of Commerces of little towns and do photography for their visitor's websites. Line the jobs up all in a row, and knock them out.
