I spent a week there back before the big main lodge burned down. Breakfast buffet every morning and dinner in the dining room every night, except Sunday night, kitchen was closed One of the most restful, delicious experiences of my life. Right after my husband had passed away and I needed some "down" alone time. Always have wanted to go back there but haven't made it back yet. Hopefully, some day. Thanks for the review and bringing good memories to me.

This scored a 10 from start to the end. It must have been date night without your cutie pies. The photographing was exceptional. The presentation of the food looked so appealing that the meat looked like it was glistening. My mouth was drooling, thought I needed a tissue to wipe the screen. The waiter was so friendly and explained everything on the plate, great guy, great personality. Actually I think the cost wasn’t bad considering this was a dining experience like no other eateries. I think this was great advertising and the restaurant should put it on use in a commercial & give you compensation or a few free dinners or discounts! Lol…. It was a beautiful video starring a wonderful couple. ❤❤

We dined there in May. Absolutely loved it. We will gi back the next time we are visiting. Nothing compared to the fantastic taste of the food.

WOWWW !!! I had to stop the video & put some marinated thick cut pork 🥩 chops on the grill ! When Ginger & I lived in Buckhead, we rotated the top 5 restaurants each week. All of these restaurants were chef run 5 star....yes, I always liked Greenbrier , but, this bistros seems to be up there with it. Another reason to visit Townsend besides tubing.. lol..thanks again ! P. S. ,, it was always like a date cause we didn't have kids.

I have to admit, the prices about scared me off at first. Then after watching the food come out & your review set it over the top. Unless a person is actually there, the entire ambiance is easily overlooked. The fact that it's not right next door to 30 other businesses is a good start. The scenery, sounds & smells, along with the aroma from the foods that were carefully & masterfully prepared by chefs. You guys nailed it on the tastes as well. Explaining how the different flavors of bread complimented the different juices, etc. I'm sold. Great review!

food looks wonderful.. do they have a place off to the side, kind a secluded to eat..? see my wife's jaw's click really bad when she eats fast and the taster the food the faster she eats, and the higher the grunting noise. it's something real embarrassing, but i've adjusted... 🤣
