All credit to Fathead, the drummer. Courtney can go flat or outright miss notes live in concert, but Mr. DeBoer is always precise and spot on. He's a hell of a drummer and a killer harmonizer.

This is how I was introduced to this song. To me it is the definitive version. The original is great in its own right, but I'm just blown away by the recording and mixing here. Without it this performance wouldn't sound nearly this good.

so amazed for dandy thirteen tales album ... this is wicked cool line track in this album : 1st song GODLESS 2nd song MOHAMMED 3rd song NIETZCHE 3 in a row ....spiritual paradox loves it !

the guitar starts as a memory of the obsessive compulsive and the rest of the band brings the memory to the present.and the words come to explain it in the now.

Wish I'd caught this tour. Went to the show at the 930 Club right before the Thirteen Tales 13th anniversary. It was excellent, but I always wondered about this one.

At least they seem to have gotten the dismal trumpet sequence together after making a shambles of it on KEXP...still Courtneys voice is gone, and they are just a shadow of what they once were, but at least they are still alive. We all can relate to that...i.e. Alice in Chains

Dude stfu. They are always evolving plain and simple. You could be the greatest band on earth but at some point you will feel the need to tweak something. We’re not meant to be a boring species. They just never settle for a particular style
