Yeahh I have had too much pride because of my childhood and now I've seen that I have been covered with it straining from the most high because I didn't know who to trust

Read the Bible and pray everyday make it a habit

I also confess it here that i’m struggling and dealing with pride. Yes, it’s often hidden and it’s ugly. I turn away from it, i don’t want it!

I had this same issue not too long ago actually. What worked for me? Praying, Fasting and all while studying and meditating on the Word of God. // While listening to sermons by Derek Prince does help (he is a real man of God), you cannot go on and inherit all that God has for you and based on his personal revelations alone. // Again, prayer & fasting (which allows for our flesh, "self" to be humbled and therefore helps to reduce pride) and studying, meditating on the Word of God (day and night night and day) will help to get to get you right back into obedience to God's will and thus the favour of God, M

God is never in the wrong, He is perpetually waiting for you to turn back. But the moment you do He is right there with you and making it so that it is as if you never left.

I read the Bible for first time at age 60. And I am reading it every day. It takes time. Be patient with yourself. Steadily seek him and he will help you. He loves each of us without partiality. So you are special to him. He is the only one we can trust and rely on fully.

What's even worse is an underlying issue for most (if not all) of those issues you mentioned is Pride... as it helps to literally blind people from seeing the damaging effects that their behaviour has on others. All because they are too focused on themselves. Things will get better. At least within the Body of Christ, that is. I have faith. M

Same here! God recently introduced sickness into my life and because of my lack of humility. While I couldn't understand why in earth He would do such a thing back then (only a couple of months now) I now see it all as a blessing, and I try to be watchful of this. Pride (selfishness, carnality etc) is a terrible, disgusting thing, M

Same brooo that is exactly me everytime I just feel guilt but the reason I have pride is because without it I am nothing everyone makes fun of me most people think I ain't shit and I'll believe it I wanna get rid of it now and I will get rid of it

God also spent a lot of time pulling Pride out of me I can't believe all the things that Pride can destroy in your life I check myself constantly and I pray to God that if at any time I show even a morsel of Pride he will correct me immediately and I promise you've Lord I will fall on my knees and repent right there I never want to have to wrestle with pride again.

Beloved it not the having a job, it's the putting the job BEFORE Him, it's the being SELF sufficient... taking ALL the credit when all credit is DUE Him...we are instructed to WORK WITH OUR HANDS, SHARE WITH THE NEEDY and NEVER BE WEARY OF DOING GOOD. and definitely being LOVE ON LEGS, not according to the world’s version( the perversion) but the Almighty's version( the authentic)... HE is LOVE... we are called to enter and ABIDE IN THE House of LOVE... when adopted into the House of LOVE... we become a CHILD of LOVE, who is sent out to be light, salt and a soldier of....LOVE! make sense?

@@kingdomambassador1904 the part about having a job but still putting him first kind of makes sense. I'm glad you responded, you may have helped save my life because I'm very close to giving up. I don't know how to make a living with my hands other than with a keyboard & I don't know what putting him first would look like, no one really exemplified that to me. Am I to spend a certain number of hours per day reading scripture or on my knees praying or meditating or being in a focused state of gratitude, or what. It's crucial I understand this now and implement it. Satan wants my soul, evidently mine is tastier than most & I'm so very tired I can't fight Satan anymore.

@@nunya3097 YES, you got it. All of the above. I totally understand about the giving up part, throughout my life I have experience those times way too often. The good news is, with the All-Mighty, there's hope, with Him, there is always HOPE. He saved me from myself, I was so self-destructive and down and out... but He has given me such a strong new found Hope... which took time for me to grasp not being used to having relevance to anyone...much less THE SUPREME ABSOLUTE HUGE OWNER OF EVERYTHING?? 😅 called ME?? I am humbled everyday!! Please understand... He made me "worthwhile", HE gave and ME worth!! He loves me in spite of myself and this love is not conditional, like fellow people... it's a complete win-win all around. I fell in love with Him who saves, heal, provide, protect and deserves all praise while studying His Word(the Messiah) and now I live exclusively for Him, no regrets. Sometimes I'm in the middle of shopping and this burst of Joy just fills me and it's not like things are going my way at all.. but it's just there, a joy I can't put words to that is not situation based Btw How did you come to faith in Him? And in regards to Him; has anything changed like, is there a newness about anything in regards to how you are, how you live, how you think?

Ha Satan is heavily harassing many across the earth, there are horrible things happening to believers like be-jeadings, being burnt alive and other atrocities... it humbles me, I dare not complain or wallow in my own afflictions when I think and hear about believers being martyred... You pray in a positive that authentic to you. Yes invest QUALITY with Him, in the mornings are best I find. It's my freshest mind, soul and strength...throughout the day, I pray while working or anything else. There is nowhere and no time in existence I won't pray to the Almighty. He gave me the "I want to obey heart", so I study and live by His Word. He said " if you love Me, keep My Commandments" It will do you well to start studying from the beginning and IF you are borne again, you are SPIRITUAL ISRAEL, so the commands given to to Israelites apply to us, His people. Period. His Commandments are righteous instruction to bless us and cleanse us, to get ready for the next age!! Exciting stuff

Confession is a sacrament whether it’s to a priest or to another believer. This comment is disrespectful of the office of priest. The body of Christ needs both well-trained professional clergy who loves God and neighbour as well as spiritually mature priesthood of all believers. There’s a tendency to throw out the baby with the bath water. There are many problems with clericalism but that doesn’t mean we should eliminate trained clergy. Derek Prince is a well-educated learned man of God who is a pastor and teacher to many. Absolution is a sacrament when done in and received with faith and correct understanding of the sacrament, the role of the priest in the church, and who God is and who we are as humans.
