There are some great games that came around but it definitely doesnt feel like the dark ages are over.

I don’t want to be pessimistic but gaming is on the decline. DMCA mod take downs, micro-transactions, hardware/chip costs, inflated budgets, digital sales removing private license ownership (physical no longer guarantees this), broken releases, special editions to play a broken game early etc. Until a long list is lessened, it’s still a bad gaming era.

I disagree on the fallout 4 buy. If people look at the steam price history for the game. You were able to grave the complete edition much cheaper. It Bethesda slapped the fallout show tax on it. I’d wait till it drops back down.

Theres literally more awesome games on steam than i can keep up with. What are you on about?

And if you lost your steam account, (or it was stolen and got banned), you would own nothing because there is no private ownership in digital sales anymore regarding TOS. Steam/PSN etc will fight giving refunds for broken games and in some cases delists. There have been software issues where people lost their libraries of purchased games. It’s a very anti-consumer era in gaming.

wtf are on about? It's the worse time for gaming, MT's, cancellation, wokeness, DRM's, NO OWNERSHIP, limited or no modding and they can rewoke the "license" at the flip of the finger. Add absurd prices and data collection and I think i'm gonna go outside and touch grass.
