Alfred took care of Bruce Wayne since he was A little boy being with him for all these years Alfred felt like A father figure to him, Then at Fake funeral that was planned by Bruce Wayne Alfred truly believed that Bruce Wayne was dead. So Alfred goes to the place where him and Bruce Wayne used go to for A morning drink as he's getting everything back into order through his wallet, He looks up O. M. G. Alfred's heart came back to life right in front of him there's Bruce Wayne sitting at another table so now Alfred knows the boy who he took care of all his life is OK he's just vacationing for A short while.

In the scene with Lucius he got those people to inspect the plane Batman used. Does that mean he admitted to helping Batman? And would that not lead people to learn that Bruce Wayne was Batman?

Strange, until now I never understood why Oldman touched the Batsignal like that. It finally hit me, Oldman destroyed it at the end of 'The Dark Knight'. It being fixed here, is Bruce his way of secretly telling him he's alive and well. All the important people in his life now know not to worry. Gordon has the Batsignal, Fox has the autopilot patch and Alfred gets the nod.

It’s amazing how deep Christopher Nolan makes these endings. The fact that the autopilot patch comes first, making the viewer confused, and then the Batsignal, and finally Bruce in real life, confirming our suspicion and making us realize each of those scenes was to tell Bruce’s friends that he’s still alive. People will be watching these films in 100 years.

@@youraveragegamer8832 Lol yeah dude I don't get it. So when he sits down he has no clue that Bruce is alive, how ever many days/weeks/months have passed at this point, and he looks over at a restaurant and sees that Bruce is alive. A normal persons reaction would be instant shock, probably followed by being so overjoyed that they're overwhelmed with tears, with a little bit of anger/confusion as to what is going on. Then they'd rush over to the table to give the person a hug, and touch them and talk to them to make sure they are real and aren't seeing things. This mf just looks over and nods like ''oh, hey there....'' Lmao like wtf?
