This is The Clashers' first attempt at a sort of TikTok documentary. I'm sure many of you are asking yourself the question: "How did this social network become so popular?" Well, today I hope you learn the answers.
🔎 Many people are searching the internet: What are the secrets of Tiktok? Why is it so popular? Does it have any dangers? Is TikTok bad? Will they ban Tiktok?
📺 The history of Tik Tok began back in 2012 in China, when Zhang Yimin founded the company Bytedance. Why is it called that and where does the name of TikTok come from - you will find out in the new video: Dirty SECRETS of TikTok!
👋 One of Bytdens and Zhang's first major successes was a news app called Toutiao, which had genius artificial intelligence for its time. It carefully analyzed every user action to be able to offer ever more personalized information to people and learned incredibly quickly from them. By analyzing every click, millisecond spent on a page, and swipe, Bytdance's algorithm literally read minds, and the more people used it, the better it learned from them. So comes the next idea and in 2016, Bytedance launched a new application for short videos called Douyin and, if you haven't heard of it, keep in mind that this is actually the Chinese version and predecessor of Tiktok.
✅ Douyin is also tailored to the political and cultural differences of China and therefore comes with several "extras": the first one is named "positive energy", which is not to motivate you and make you feel good as it sounds, but it just contains positive information and videos about the Chinese government. There's also an auto skin lightening filter, tailored to the Chinese obsession with whiter skin.
I hope you find today's video interesting and share it with your friends on social networks! Thank you! 🔥
