I got to say, Fortnite has one of the most unexpectedly deep storyline I've experienced so far. I have a feeling that the island is going to be fractured beyond repair due to a possible rift/portal malfunction

That’s what got me addicted to the game and start to play it after all these years it’s been out. The storyline, lvl up system and skins/collabs !! Joined in Chapter 3 Season 1 and been grinding loving it since 💪🏼

I think the Shapeless Man (or The Nothing) manipulated the Rift Warden into joining the Oathbound and constructing the Rift Gate to give The Nothing and The Last Reality access to Reality Zero.

I actually have a theory on why the Loop is still in place. What if the Zero Point has incorporated it into its function? It's very clear the the Seven are trying to protect the Zero Point but there are times where it's up to the Loopers to protect it. That means if the Loop disappears and everyone leaves, it will leave the Zero Point even more exposed. And so, the Zero Point is creating a natural Loop to make sure there are people to protect it.

The loop is a defense mechanism and not a bubble…the loop was explained in the comments, but the bubble was there to explain the bridge

I'd imagine the Loop was in place far longer than the IO had control over the Zero Point. The IO just mastered control over the Loop and the Zero Point. I'd imagine the "morality problems" started when the IO used the Loop to kidnap random people and force them into an endless battle time loop (We don't know if the Loop started out with "fight forever" in mind after all). So if the Seven is "newer" than the IO, they probably just jumped to conclusions and assumed that THEY made the Loop and so it's bad. Also, don't forget that the Loop has that whole "Memory and power erasing" thing going for it. Any bad guy that enters Reality Zero directly should presumably forget what they were doing here and also not have the power to do anything.

I had this same thought recently. There must always be someone to defend the Zero Point from existential threats (the IO, the Seven, the Loopers.) So as long as the Zero Point exists in/on an inhabitable world, there must always be The Loop. That's why it continued after the IO were defeated and after The Paradigm initiated Zero Fusion.

The Nothing is probably the creepiest character in the Fort nite Storyline. His voice, his choice of words, and the fact that he likely has more power over The Last Reality than The Cube Queen is just very scary. I hope we see him in Chapter 4.

The problem with fan theories and guessing where the story could go is that some of the coolest ideas people have never come true. Even worse, people take rumors as fact because they sound so good, so when those rumors don't come true people get mad that they were "lied to."

We also need to remember that at the end of the day, Fortnite is a video game FIRST, and also likes to make money off of cosmetics. The Storyline usually just goes whatever direction Epic thinks will make the most money. What path is the Storyline going to take? Easy! The one that leads to the most new skins and excuses for gameplay changes! (So, maybe a corrupted Seven bundle? The Nothing? We've already kind of got Geno so he's in danger of being wiped off the storyline).

@@tymen.spiering I didn't mean that, Fortnite definitely has a storyline and the people working on the game do have some passion for it (or atleast, Donald Mustard does). I just meant that at the end of the day, being a game that makes money is their priority. That means they won't let the storyline get in the way of doing whatever it takes to 'improve' the game or make more money. They see that the Foundation skin did really well because of it also being Dwayne Johnson? Whaddya know! Turns out Paradigm looks just like Brie Larson, all that Singularity stuff was just lies! People are getting sick of the current Island? Whoops! An evil race of creatures bent on destruction have arrived! Guess this is the end of this map!

I mean, it IS possible to change for the better or worse. You don't need an evil corruptive villain or substance to do that. But I'm pretty sure he said it wasn't like Slone to destroy the Zero Point, she was just doing it under GENO'S orders. GENO wanted to destroy the Zero Point, but she wouldn't have done it under her own will.

It's very unlikely we'll ever see ANY of the previous maps return, and certainly not intact enough to be recognized as the "Old Maps". Besides the obvious "They've been destroyed a thousand times over" stuff, there's also the fact that Epic kind of likes to keep things season/ chapter exclusive. Those Islands, map changes, weapons, items, battle pass stuff, etc. are all exclusive to their respective seasons, they aren't likely to ever come back. Atleast, not Battle Passes or the Islands.

Tbh when stellan said "shapeless man" I thought it said faceless and i immediately thought it had something to do with the nothing and then I thought my theory was right when he also said "he warned me that if we do not hurry he will destroy the world" or something like that but now since I have listened to this theory it makes more sense now that it's not the nothing and it could be someone else

I dont think the IO is evil. First I thing they had a purpose and Seven tried to stop them thats why they fought. In chapter one IO was using portals to come but the seven used rifts and kevin came with the rift in chapter 3 season 2 IO tried to destroy the map and if they the map would be blown up but because we are loopers we would respawn BUT the tree and chrome would never come to island that way and zero point would build smt else. And I also think in this island the ageless champion will be our hero.

I feel like this is similar to the island flipping idea but with sides. We might have to join forces with oathbound and even io .since if the seven might be evil now and joined the nothing, its safe to say we sadly need the io's help to prevent the nothing to win. I think next season could be another faction VS faction, maybe multiple factions : the Oathbounds, The First Seven, The Last Reality, the New Ice Kingdom and the returning IO.

What if when you send stuff through the rift gates it has a chance to become corrupter and when they sent to much kinetic ore through the rift it became corrupted which is why kinetic ore looks like purple ish and then the last reality harnessed the energy from the corrupted kinetic ore which gave them dark energy and they sent other stuff through the rift gate like fiends. It would also explain why Kevin the cube bounced you back or when the you could bounce on the purple lake. Also when amie fragment is talking about the bad things happening to the 7 it might just be them getting corrupted.

Rift Warden came with Nothing,no home,no family etc.He easily can be manipulated.Same with Jonesy.Someone wants form him to build the Rift Gate....Its actually sad.The Visitor collection book was some kind of like."He has seen s war before".That means The Visitor still can be Jonesy(Jonesy becomes The Visitor),or he is The Future version of Stellan...

what if there was a villain from the last reality that was named the shapeless, and he was the king of distortion, I think that would be so cool to see!!! I really do think it’s possible for the last reality to invade without it being the end of a chapter so anyways, I think the paradigm is inside the zero point the rest of the sevens corrupted and of course the imagined, as we all know is dead I think the Jones will come in as the legend to take her spot because he could very well be the son of Geno, in the brother of the imagined, and the order. That would make sense, and I do not think of Geno is the shapeless man. I think that in chapter 4, season five, the seven should have a Civil War in the snow, because it will be winter at that point and the island should be frozen over. I think that all of the fighting should break the island into pieces and that is how we go in to the next chapter zero point will take us to the next island which was created by zero shard the people from the marvel reality brought to reality zero but there was no island there, but the people of reality 659 were there so they used it to create an island and eventually read the reality warriors and shadow will come there cause they will leave reality Chapter 4 Island or whatever it is and take their territory on the island. Also shadow will end up coming to chapter 4 island because we will need help fighting the shapeless. And eventually we will go back to reality zero in chapter 5 season one, and take our territory on that island, and there should be a place called the underworld on the other side of the island and no there’s not a flip side just on the spikes that are hanging on the bottom of the island they connected all of them and start building a city down there where there’s dark things, and dark casinos and dark bounty boards, and everything that you could just see as a gangster place or something. And we should get into conflict with them and at the end of the chapter I think that every last reality leader should return and the island will be destroyed by the nothing a.k.a. the the true leader of the last reality I know this is a lot because I just stretched to the end of chapter 5 but yeah, I think it’s cool to imagine how the storyline could go lol thank you for reading this very comment. I know in the origins music pack he says that he just left but I don't believe that cause no way ANYONE would have the most power ever and just be like nope I'm out so what I believe is that: the cube king was dethroned by the cube queen cause maybe he hesitated on destroying a world I mean it's not that big of a stretch cause in his loading screen he could be seen getting blasted by blue energy and the cube queens pickaxe is blue at the top and it looks like it could pack a powerful punch

I have an interesting theory: Geno is The Nothing. As in his body got taken over by The Nothing. Maybe in a live event in which The Oathbound go through the rift portal device to attack The Last Reality. We also join the battle with Amie to free The Scientist. Only for The Nothing (Old Geno) to show up and absolutely destroy the entire army. We get pulled out last minute by The Foundation and Agent Jones, as they’ve been tracking the pieces of Geno. The Ageless gets captured his future self and gets corrupted into The Nothing, essentially creating a timeloop in which The Nothing will always take control of Geno’s body no matter what

This might be a little controversial but I personally think the story of the seven should be done. It’s gone on for years and it’s getting kinda boring. I’d rather them have died in season 4 and new story emerge this chapter, but of course epic can’t get rid of them.

Ok so everyone remembers season 2 right? Knights and stuff and this season is like that too but more futuristic. What if we are gonna follow the chapter 1 type of storyline but futuristic. What if we go to different seasons from all the different chapters but it's altered like for example what if the master beat singularitys robot also just spit balling what if the zero point grabs more chunks of earth from other realitys and time zones creating a different version of season x but we get some other crossovers like instead of the mega mall from season 9 we get the Twin pines mall from back to the future with Marty mcfly and doctor emit brown. What if they release a couple different maps but we randomly get put on a map each game. That would spice up the gameplay and also make for a better storyline in my opinion.

I think the evil seven will be a separate body to the original, the original seven will fight and win against there evil counterparts and swoop in and stop the oathbound next season for a jampacked event next season

Also when the nothing talked to bytes, it said "we know your thoughts", so other than the fact that we don't know the guy speaking, he said WE... So is it possible that like there is the seven and the imagined order, which are all composed of different people with different symbols in the logos, there is a conglomerate of the most evil beings called the nothing? And thus this guy, the cube queen and the herald were just 3 of the leaders, and there are more ?

What if characters like SpongeBob, God of War Thor, Godzilla, and more are pulled to the island as an army for the zero point? It’ll be like Chapter 2 Season 5, but they won’t keep loopers from escaping, but rather helping the Oathbound and Reality Warriors to protect the zero point from the Nothing. This is just me because anything can happen in the next season, but we’ll fight to save everything from nothing.
