WHO AM I:
Hi Friends! I'm Dean, a filmmaker, photographer, entrepreneur, and nature lover from Cape Town, South Africa. I now live in the US creating and exploring. I create videos that help creatives break the system and find creative, financial, and geographic freedom. Because who wants to be trapped under someone else rules! I care about the planet, protecting our environment, the importance of travel, and being able to work for yourself and from anywhere.
In between, I'll share my travels, experiences, thoughts on life, short films, and how I made them. This channel will be everything and anything ME. I'm interested in so many different things and this channel will reflect that:) I hope you enjoy it!

I’m grateful you decided to open up and say this. I honestly been getting sucked up into the toxic side of self development where I just went “go go go” without stopping. And i failed to realize that what might work for others or the most will not work for me… We lost touch with ourselves and listening to our bodies because we think we don’t have that wisdom, but in reality WE know what to do WE have the answer within us you just need to lay back and give space to yourself and thoughts. You opened my eyes on the meditation part when you said “maybe you’re an intuitive person and you don’t need to meditate at all” and it’s true. Two years ago when I started meditating, It really helped me become aware of my patterns and of thoughts that I never knew existed. But now nothing comes up and I try to force a feeling to come up and It doesn’t work. That’s because I became aware of my emotions now! I don’t need to “watch” my emotions bc i’m already aware of them most of the time. Thank you for this video!

Don't really know how to word this but you've hit the nail on the head for me..I've found the exact same thing, I've loved the motivation from the content but there's so much content all going in different directions it motivates but confuses/misdirects you idk it's weird to put into words but I've experienced the exact same thing as you.. glad I'm not the only one.. Much love bro!

Happy that you don't feel alone in this. I think whats most important is that we should take the time to listen to ourselves. Deep down we know what to do and we know what is right. We need to start trusting ourselves again. Happy to have you around!

There's NO way out of " heartbreak" except time. Read once it's takes half as long as you were in it to get OUT of it. In my mid 20's I was in one for 5 years. Yep... took exactly 2.5 years to get completely out of it.

What I really hate is: Those that can't do "heartbreak" and stay in HELL relationships for decades. One x friend is now going on 45 YEARS doing this ! and... they hate their 40+ year job as much !! It's a study of all studies. The reason I know this stuff is they have told me all of the details over years. It's not speculation. One is SUPPOSED to break-up in their lives especially if they're in their 20's ! It's just a lesson in life and the blues.

Superb ⭐ Bro how to build strong professional relationships with successful people & surround ourselves with high achievers especially when we cannot meet them personally but online ? Are there any good books which talks about it as there's a great saying that -you're the average of 5 people you spend time with ! Now unfortunately i am at my home in new town so there are less like minded people here so i avoid them & spend more time on KZfaq learning from content creators..
