@@NeryJasso-rx9ul technically it wasn’t canceled since this wasn’t a movie in development. This can basically be classified as a fan project.

I always like the idea of Joker knowing Batman is Bruce Wayne but just doesn’t care. He considers both of them 2 different people.

@@WarpingFist There was a comic in the late 80’s or early 90’s where the Joker captures Batman. One of the Joker Men want to take off the mask and see who he is. The Joker stopped him, saying, who is is under the mask is not important. What important is he is the Bat.

My crazy idea for the next Batman movie is we start with Kite Man robbing a penthouse over the flooded city streets . Then something attacks him in the air. it is Man Bat

Ah yes. Night Cries and Serious House on Serious Earth are the stories that popped in my mind when I first found these concepts. Always a shame that stories such as this one are restricted to just artwork. Id definitely see it in theatres. Hell, I’d even be okay with a show.

Thank you. Always a sucker for bleaker batman stories. However, stuff like Grant Morrisons run and Brave and The Bold are equally as good.

His work is amazing. I’ve always seen those Batman artworks floating around but I had no idea there was an entire plot behind them.

@@WarpingFist I wanted to know what would have happened in the end! How did Bruce Cure himself? Did he overcome his rage or succumb to it? You always find the most interesting projects whether they be official or fan devised(which I have a pitch of my own idea for Batman which would be an original Future story Albeit taking elements from Batman Beyond and The Cancelled Arkham Game)

@@henrygambles3652 oh man, it totally flew over my head to ask Mr.Paget about those story details. Due to that I unfortunately don’t know. The great thing is he answers emails so you can ask. Also, that a pretty interesting premise for a future Batman story.

And my take on this future is that basically at some point in Gotham Thomas Elliot(Hush or the Identity Thief) got a hold of a new Virus(which we later learn is a combination of Joker’s Toxin and Scarecrow’s fear Gas which makes the person physically violent for a few hours before their heart gives out and they die) Batman(who is almost seventy and has been active for a long time by this point in his career) was able to stop him but Sadly at the cost of his own life, this broke Dick Grayson and his wife Barbara Gordon the hardest who retired from the costumed life all together, A few Years later with Barbara now as the Comissioner of the GCPD they operate in a much darker Gotham where New Criminals operate under old Aliases and Arkham Asylum is now a grave yard due to a mysterious violent massacre that happened there years ago however whilst on patrol Black Mask’s men are taken down by a new Batman and Robin(Both wearing Batman Beyond Esque Suits), Barbara investigates the identity of who this Batman could be feeling as though he is degrading the legacy of Bruce Wayne however in a shocking twist, this Batman is revealed to be Bruce’s adopted son and Former Robin, Tim Drake(Who I always thought could have been a good successor to Batman if written well)! As for the Toxin well it turns out that the Joker’s Daughter(Joker has been long dead by this point) has acquired it and plans to unleash it upon Gotham to continue her father’s legacy of mayhem and Death forcing the New Batman and his Allies to stop her!

Wow, this story sounds fantastic. Dark, but also pays respect to Batman’s legacy. I can see this working as an eleworlds story.
