When you talk about what you will talk about, like at 6min, that you are gonna talk about patch notes and then answer chat questions, I feel you need to add segment where you ask your guest(Apollo) questions. Like... What comps he thinks are the strongest ones, what he would like to see in the game, what he likes the most about the game, maybe his gaming history, etc. Loving the podcasts, keep up the great work ! 🎉

I think the Ruins > Crypts > Hell would be great if they absolutely decimate loot drops. Literally make loot x10 more rare and force groups to play in hell. I might be in the minority on this, but I think too many people treat this game actually as a PvP game and not a PvPvE game. I want to go and actually dungeon crawl. I wanna go through multiple layers, fighting PvE and PvP on the various layers and actually make long crazy runs into hell to fight a boss. At the very least, they should add the stairs back to ruins and make the blue crypts standard for ruins. Crypts > Inferno, where inferno has multiple demon type enemies as the elites for the area and create some new "demon" bosses for inferno. Then Ruins > Nightmare Crypts, where crypts is the blue crypts with vastly more red/black elite variants of the mobs and put the undead bosses here instead of hell.

Casters are very very hard for them to balance so the boys were goin off the rails with the whole 3 spell memory talk & it pulls the game to far from the melee exchanges people love. But I think utility magic can become an awesome direction.

Definitely would love to see a very industrialized type map, something like Ironforge from WoW, but long abandoned and overrun with creatures. Also wanna see something completely out of this world, while still being grounded enough in reality, something like ash lake from dark souls. Also want a cliffside/ravine with wyverns and giants and cyclops and big stuff - a more difficult end game map or maybe even a raid, where essentially every enemy is like a miniboss.

About barb and the shield - I think it would work well to give Barb a perk that allows them to use a shield.

To add to the conversation of quests/storage. Maybe a quest reward could be a Bag of Holding??

Also i gotta say i really love your long chain quest ideas, reminds me of diablo 2 style quests that actually feel like an epic adventure unraveling, and not just "kill 10 goatmen!"

For improving stash just go with gem bags being not too rare, then have epic bags of holing and such. If they are really rare they wont just become meta to have to have.

I just cant fathom how the devs think making healing items worse will somehow reduce the amount of healing items people carry, its completely backwards logic.

So many great spots in goblin caves to farm pve for xp! The hideout the mine and the jail are my fav spots to loot

A hidden change I believe I noticed is that GC is now 9 people instead of 10. Am I tripping? Also, they just mentioned in Discord today that they're testing Duo's. I'm really interested to see how that goes. Only been playing a couple weeks, but started recording content just yesterday as I'm getting better and I'm pumped for the future of Dark and Darker. I'm fine with HP pot nerf tbh. Even without stacking, fights could take ages because of each team slow playing and just downing HP pots, on top of Bard/cleric heals. And trying to push in would fail for that reason as well. Getting rid of SOME of the healing is a step in the right direction imo.

Maybe another take on wizard: they know a lot of spells and can choose each of them daily. BUT they also can leave slots open and prepare spells afterwards. That's what makes wizards in DnD so strong. Give a wizard enough prep time and he can solo anything. Give him an hour an he can at least prepare the right spell for the situation. In the game we could make it so that when you meditate, you can choose your spells you want to use until your next meditation? Which means if you pressure a wizard, he won't be more effective but if you are just a rogue who sits on top of a shelf waiting for him, he will sit down, prep light orb and find you.

I think a simple fix for the zweihander would be to change the mouse 2 initial swing to come out from the left, instead of the right. Currently, both mouse 1 and mouse 2 weapon swings are basically horizontal swings originating from the right side. If we had the option to swing from the left side with mouse 2 or alt-fire or w.e you call it, then atleast we wouldn't be utterly useless if our right side is against a wall, as well as giving alot more mix-up potential, since players would have to anticipate it from either the left or the right, instead of knowing its always coming from the right. They could keep the second overhead part of the swing exactly the same, but being able to start a combo either swing left or right, instead of always from the same side would be such a quality of life improvement, especially in cramped areas. Honestly, id prefer a thrust/stab for the mouse 2, but i understand that they wanna differentiate it from other weapons like longsword and spear.

Honestly i think the stash is plenty big enough for weapons and armor. Its just all the other Bullshit that clogs everything up. I think a coin chest, a jewlery box and maybe a cauldron for potions. Thats all you need. No weapon racks, no armor racks, etc. It feels like too much at that point

Lots of perks sound good. But I fear it will just be like it is now (or in WoW for example) where everyone just runs the best ones anyway. Balance is more important then the amount of things to choose from.

Barbarian needs access to all 2h weapons

The Sorcerer in dnd is the one that can curve spells not a wizard

I found a Blue Longbow +3 all Att +3 will. That thing would hit hard.

I wouldn’t say solo bard is great but I think people undervalue it’s solo viability it’s almost as fast as rouge and you can go stealth as well but I dont use that. The main thing that helps solo bard is running crossbows I usually bring a hand crossbow and a standard crossbow.

Give wizard two spell pages base. More utility. I get that too tier wizards to a lot of damage but is less hood wizards are having a hard time. Little to no armor, super slow even with haste you can’t out run lots of players. Two shot by most classes

why play sorc over wiz? Sorc has less spells that do higher damage maybe. But why play wiz? More trios/utility play maybe. It will be interesting to see how they implement and balance. Take my sub btw.

Anyone started seeing more cheating? Feel like I was getting lasered by one shot cant miss rangers last night, especially in Ruins. Inspecting their gear after i'm dead leaves me thinking they cannot possibly be doing that damage or accuracy.
